Deepika Singh admitted to hospital

Deepika Singh, who is currently seen as Sandhya in Star Plus’ Diya Aur Baati Hum (Shashi Sumeet Mittal Productions Pvt. Ltd), has been recuperating in hospital since the past two days. Well… we are sure you’re wondering what went wrong with this TV bahu, so let us get to the crux of the story.

As per a reliable source, Deepika had complained of pain in her throat on Monday (17 December 2012) post which she was admitted to hospital in Mira Road. However, her condition worsened and she was shifted to Kokilaben Hospital, Andheri on 18 December.

Here, it was learnt that the actress has throat infection and it is so bad that she cannot even gulp down her saliva without pain. The doctors have advised her rest and prescribed anti-biotic for the next two days. But, if her condition does not improve she might have to undergo an operation for the same.

The cast and crew have been paying her a visit every now and then.

Furthermore, the creatives are working on a different storyline at the moment for the current track was on Deepika. Since her two day’s shoot got cancelled, the show is running out of bank of episodes. However, the team is planning to give in extra hours to meet their deadline.

Deepika’s mother has been tending her in hospital.
