Deep Jaitly to enter Ishita’s life in Star Plus’ Yeh Hai Mohabbatein

Star Plus’ newest offering Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, coming from the stables of Balaji Telefilms has opened to a good response, especially with its fast-paced storyline being its biggest plus point.

As we know, Mrs. Iyer (Neena Kulkarni) is desperate to get her daughter Ishita (Divyanka Tripathi) married. And in tonight’s episode, Ishita will meet a man who is a cut above the rest, Prateek who is a simple, charming young man.

The character of Prateek will be played by Deep Jaitly who is presently seen in Star Plus’ Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon – Ek Baar Phir in the negative character of Abhay.

A reliable source tells us that Prateek and Ishita will meet at Ishita’s home. Their first meeting will happen when Ishita and her entire family will be irked with the behaviour of their neighbour, Mr. Raman (Karan Patel). In fact, the scene will be so intense that Raman will lift his hand to slap Ishita when Prateek will make his entry and stop Raman from abusing Ishita and her family more.

Ishita and Prateek will connect immediately, and Ishita will actually be surprised to know that Prateek knows of her fertility problem. Ishita will express her thoughts to Prateek saying he can openly refuse the alliance if he is unhappy. But to her surprise, Prateek will say that they can still raise a kid who is not their own, and give the kid a good upbringing. Ishita will be very happy at this thought of Prateek. After a nice conversation, Prateek will propose to marry Ishita in front of her family. But Ishita will be shocked to see this happen so soon, and will have no words to express. However, she will instantly give her nod and will agree to marry Prateek. This will bring tears of joy to the entire Iyer family, especially Mrs. Iyer.

When contacted, Deep Jaitly confirmed his entry saying, “Yes, my entry will happen in tonight’s episode. I play a positive and simple guy Prateek, who runs an event management company. He likes Ishita at their very first meeting and Ishita too reciprocates the same feelings.”
