Daljiet Kaur turns Durga in Kaala Teeka

Navratri is a pan-India festival that celebrates the victory of good over evil and the power of feminism. Actor Daljiet Kaur, who has been winning hearts as Manjiri in Zee TV’s primetime drama ‘Kaala Teeka’, will now be seen in a never-seen-before avatar. The actress is all set to don the garbs of Goddess Durga for an upcoming sequence.

In the upcoming track where Vishwaveer (Bhupinder Singh) is on the verge of killing Kali’s (Simran Pareenja) child Raina, Manjiri emerges on the spot and wielding a trishul, slays him à la Goddess Durga putting an end to the demon – Mahishasur’s life.

Speaking about this powerful look, Daljeet says, “It was a memorable moment for me because when you have to depict goddess Durga- an epitome of strength & aggression, it has to be done with utmost vigor, passion and intensity. It calls for high energy levels. I guess I just tried my best to deliver what was expected from me.”

Get ready to witness high voltage drama in the show when Vishwaveer is trying to kill Kali and her baby Raina, Dev makes a dramatic entry, helping Manjiri in killing Vishwaveer.
