The youth icon, Mishal, who made a come back on television after a hiatus with Colors’ social drama Ishq Ka Rang Safed (FilmFare), is all set to bid goodbye to his fans soon.

The latest news arriving to us desk suggests that owing to low TRPs Ishq Ka Rang Safed is all set to shut shop within two months.

A source shares, “Lately the daily is not receiving decent TRP ratings. Recently the original creative team also witnessed a change with the hope that the new group will be able to pull more audience. Unfortunately, it seems that the plan has backfired on the makers, with the show taking a different turn from its original storyline. And this has resulted in the failure to grab eyeballs and poor ratings in the number game”.

Finally the channel has decided to pull the plug off and end the show.

Another source reveals that Rashmi Sharma Telefilms’ upcoming venture Shakti, starring Vivian Dsena and Rubina Dilaik, is all set to replace IKRS from the time lot of 6:30 pm. Another buzz doing the round is that Udann will move to 6:30 slot, while Shakti will air at the 8:30 pm.

Our efforts to reach Mishal, Eisha Singh and Ishita Ganguly for a confirmation remained futile.

We have also dropped a message to producer Roopali Guha but have not received any info till the time of filing the article.

The channel spokesperson on their part quashed the news.

Later Roopali reached out to us with her text: Till I don’t hear from the channel, Ishall choose to ignore the rumour 🙂

    After EISHA disappear from this show we don’t want to see this serial anymore,
    love you mishal,But we don’t want to see you with some others who just only name of Dhani,
    We want our Dhani , other wise quit this show soon,
    Now this show is left of full negativity,dhongi priest,marriage without love( kamini and viplab)
    Lustful judge,bad society,no respect for widow,
    Most worst thing is new Dhani, no emotions no cuteness no natural her acting looks very fake, over act can’t touch our soul,
    So please quit this show ASAP

    Most all serials become boring once they start bringing additional characters and start fooling audience with stupid things just to drag the serials/episodes. Many serials start so well but soon lose the grip because the producers and writers have no idea where they are going with their production. Like Anu Radha says, “there’s a limit to the endless stupidity”.

      Hi Mishal i really lk ur acting frm Anurag Basu’s lovestory….it was amazing to see u back in that intense lover image…ikrs going awesome…i was eagerly watch it…some tms i watched at 3.30 a.m also because of u and the innovative story too…but after creating that missunderstanding betwn V & D for kamini its looked lik the as usual issues of other dailysoaps….nd after replacing dhani its looking worst….bt stii i watch it some times only for u….wish u good luch nd come back soon with other unique nd short timed story again & again..????
