Raaz Gayeb Laash Ka

At a house

A girl bored from TV picks up a novel and walks into the balcony enjoying the fresh air, suddenly finds blood on the balcony railing. She looks up to find a dead body hanging from above in front of her.

She quickly runs and knocks at the next flat. A lady from the opposite house opens the door first and then a guy from the next door steps out. People from everywhere come over to her house to check the balcony, but they do not find any dead body. Everyone plans to call CID.

Team checks the terrace and then the empty flat from where the dead body was hanging and finds nothing there. The girl, Shilpa tells that blood was dripping from the forehead. Abhijeet asks Vineet to send the railing to Forensic lab. Shilpa tells that she saw the dead body for 10 seconds and the body had a bullet wound but she did not hear any gun fire. A guy named Sanjay tells that he takes care of the flat above Shilpa’s flat, as the owner of the Manish Bhai stays in America and visits only once a year. Shilpa tells Abhijeet that possibly the murderer had a silencer on the gun due to which she couldn’t hear the gunshot. Abhijeet gets impressed that she knows quite well about guns and silencer to which Shilpa tells that she is fond of reading detective novels.

Suddenly a lady enters the house and asks as to what is happening in her house. The lady tells that she is Anju Kumar owner of the flat and doesn’t know who Shilpa is. Shilpa tries to remind Anju that she is Shilpa, Ayesha’s friend. Anju doesn’t recognize Ayesha too. Rajat gives a question mark glance. Shilpa tells that Ayesha is the tenant of the house to which Anju says that she never gave her house on rent.

Shilpa tries to call Ayesha, but her Ayesha’s phone turns out to be switched off. Anju tells that the house was closed since three months and suddenly she got a phone call from the building secretary that the tenant in her house has seen a dead body.

At the bureau
Freddy tells that Ayesha’s phone is still switched off. Anju tells that there is no Ayesha and the girl Shilpa has illegally entered her house. ACP asks Shilpa as to when she entered into that house.

Shilpa tells that the previous day she came from Pune in search of a job. She knew Ayesha when she was in Pune and Ayesha herself offered to stay at her flat till she finds a job. So, around 8 O clock they both arrived at the building, watchman was missing, Ayesha opened the door, showed the house, asked shilpa to order food from outside and left as she worked in night shift. Daya asks the secretary as to where was the watchman, to which the Secretary says that at 8 O clock shift changes so for 5-10 mins there will be no watchman at the gate. ACP asks as to where was Ayesha working to which Shilpa recollects it to be precision marketing company.

At the Company:
Team along with Shilpa reaches the office and finds there is no employee or ex-employee named Ayesha in that company. No one believes the presence of Ayesha. Rajat tells that they should check the flat again.

At the Flat where Shilpa stayed
Rajat asks Shilpa that if Ayesha was staying there then there would be some clothes and stuff to which Shilpa points to an Alamarah and says that it is full of clothes and also Ayesha had asked her to use them if needed. Rajat opens the Almarah and finds it empty. Shilpa gets totally confused as to whats happening and tells that someone is trying to frame her may be Anju.
Anju tells that the girl Shilpa has gone crazy. Sachin, Vineet and Rajat check the whole house and find a dead body in the fridge. Sachin asks Shilpa if the dead girl in the fridge is Ayesha or the girl who was hanging in the balcony to which Shilpa tells that it is none. No one recognizes the dead girl. Rajat tells that the murder might have taken place 2-3 hours before. Sachin gets a call from Dr Salunkhe who tells that he found traces of blood on the railing. Rajat and Sachin wonder as to where did the 1st dead body go.

At Sanjay’s flat
Team checks the house again and finds a lady’s hair in the balcony. Sanjay tells that he has no clue about the strand of hair as he comes only around 2-3 in the afternoon to clean the flat and if something has happened at night then he has no clue about it.
Rajat checks the door and finds that someone has meddled with the lock. The watchman tells that every outsider who comes into the society has to do an entry in the register but if they come from the back gate then he has no clue as there is no watchman at the back gate.

At the backgate.
The Secretary tells that the gate is always locked and no one uses the gate. Rajat checks the gate and finds the lock opened forcibly. They also find some ladies sandal marks near the gate. Rajat doubts if it belongs to the girl who got murdered. Rajat asks Vineet to pick the footprints and tells Shilpa that her house will be sealed. Shilpa wonders where to stay when Anju tells that she can stay in her other flat and is sorry for getting angry previously. Rajat also asks Shilpa for Ayesha’s pune Address.

At Pune
Team reaches the address mentioned by Shilpa and inquires about Ayesha. The gentleman at the house tells that he stays with his wife Kalpana who has currently gone out and daughter Deepthi and doesn’t know anyone named Ayesha. Team meets Deepthi and asks if she knows any Ayesha to which she says a clear no and doesn’t even recognize Shilpa.

At Anju’s house
Team reaches Anju’s house to meet Shilpa but they neither find shilpa nor her luggage. Vineet concludes that Shilpa lied to them all the way.

At the Forensic Lab
Dr Salunkhe tells that they found traces of blood on the railing and the DNA of that blood matches to the DNA of the hair they found in the flat above, but they don’t belong to the dead girl found in the fridge.

ACP tells that Sanjay knows a lot but is hiding it.. Nikhil asks if Shilpa is innocent then why did she runaway to which Abhijeet tells that may be someone kidnapped her to mislead the CID team. ACP wonders where did the dead body in the balcony vanish, who is the dead girl in the fridge and where did Shilpa go

At the bureau
Abhijeet tells that they sent the photo of the dead body to all the police stations but there is no missing person complaint reported in the name of the dead girl. Freddy and Nikhil tell that the phone number which Shilpa had given belongs to Ayesha kumar and they found the real address from the mobile phone company.

At Ayesha’s house
Team tells that they had been searching her since long. They show the photo of Shilpa and asks if she knows her. Ayesha gets shocked looking at the photo and tells that she is no friend of Shilpa, she had only seen this girl outside the house while she was waiting for an auto. Ayesha continues that the girl came and asked her phone to make a call saying that her phone’s battery is down and wants to make an emergency call, She tried to make a call but it did not connect so she returned the phone and left.

Team tells that they want to check her mobile phone log to see which number did Shilpa dial to which Ayesha says that she has made many calls in the past two days and the number may not be in the call logs anymore. Sachin tells that they should find out the number from the mobile phone company to which rajat tells that if the phone did not connect then they will not find any info there too. Ayesha asks as to why are they inquiring about her to which Rajat tells about how Shilpa informed them about her rented house here in Mumbai ,one on pune , her company name etc. to which Ayesha says that all of it is false.

Rajat asks as to how did Shilpa come to know her name to which Ayesha replies that when Shilpa was making a call one of her friend called her name aloud and may be at that time she must have heard her name. Sachin asks Ayesha as to where she was when the murder happened i.e. evening 5-11 two days back to which Ayesha responds that she was in the office along with her friends Vijaya. Rajat confirms the same.

At the Secretary’s offie
Team reaches his office and asks about Sanjay to which the Secretary says that he is a nice man and come only in day time. Rajat asks about Manish bhai and Anju to which the secretary says that Manish bhai never came to the flat at all, not even once and Anju kumar lives a lonely life, has a son who is settled in US and husband is dead. Sachin asks as to how did Anju manage her daily household expenses to which the secretary says that Anju’s son doesn’t even call his mother and Anju;s household expenses would be mostly from the tenants who stay in her house but since 3 months there was no tenant. Rajat wonders how did Anju manage her expenses and why did she leave her house empty for 3 months.

At the Bureau
Anju tells that its her wish that she didn’t want to give the house to any tenant and its no crime. ACP tells that it is not a crime to keep a house empty but there has been a lot of money being deposited in to her account suddenly. Anju acts innocent to which Abhijeet tells that every month 1lakh Rs cash is being deposited into the account. Anju tells that her son Mohit deposits the money in her account to which CID tells that they know everything about Mohit and asks her to tell the truth about the money being deposited.

Anju tells that the tenant, Payel staying at her flat used to give her that money. She had given the flat on rent without any documentation work. Payel had struck a deal saying that she will give 1lakh every month for the flat if no one comes to know that she is using the flat. Abhijeet wonders how would she fool the people of that society as some or the other day they would see her to which Anju says that payel used to use the back gate to come inside. ACP asks for payel’s address.

At Payel’s house
Team searches Payel’s house and finds some photographs of the girl whose dead body was found in the fridge and along with that another girl whom they suspect to be Payel. Abhijeet wonders why did payel take the flat on rent if she had a house of her own. They also find Shilpa’s photo in the album. Shreya tells that Shilpa knew the dead girl found in the fridge but she lied. Abhijeet tells that Shilpa told only one truth and that was about the dead body in the balcony and other than that everything else was a lie. Abhijeet wonders if Shilpa and Payel together killed the girl and ran away. Abhijeet finds a house name plate in the album which has the address of Pune Nikhil adds that the wrong address that Shilpa had given was also from pune. Abhijeet tells that there is some connection between the two addresses and decides to go to pune.

At Pune Address
Team finds Shilpa leaving with her luggage and also finds another car following Shilpa’s car. CID team follows Shilpa’s car and at some lonely place the people from the other car overtake Shilpa’s car, they stop her and try to attack her. Abhijeet and team reaches in time and catches eveveryone. A guy and a girl try to run away but the team catches them. They turn out to be Ayesha and Sanjay. Abhijeet gives the famous Daya sir’s slap.

At the bureau
Sanjay tells that they used to sell drugs and thought of using Mahesh Bhai’s house to hide the drugs. Ayesha says that they needed some girls from a well to do family to help them in their work and thus Payal and Maya used to stay in the same house and work under them. Payel wanted to get married to Sanjay, but Sanjay didn’t want the same as he was already married so he shot her but before his men could take the deadbody outside Sanjana(Sanjay’s wife) rings the door bell. They temporarily hide the dead body in the balcony so that Sanjana doesn’t see the same. Sanjana doubts that Sanjay was with Payel in the house but he convinces her that there was no one in the house.

After that his men pulled back the dead body but Shilpa had already seen the dead body by then. Ayesha says that she thought of including Shilpa also into the drug business but after Shilpa she saw the dead body and called CID she never entered the society. Shilpa scolds Ayesha for thinking that she could pull her into crime.

ACP scolds Shilpa for hiding information from them i.e. not revealing that she knew Maya. Shilpa says that she didn’t want to fall in anymore trouble so she thought of running away from the city.

Sanjay continues that after CID team searched the whole house, maya came to his house in search of Payal. She threatened him that she would revel his affair with payal to his wife sanjana so he took her to Anju’s house, killed her and put her dead body in the fridge. ACP gives the phaansi dialog.

Note:
Dead body found hanging in the balcony belonged to Payel. Payel used to pay Anju (house owner) 1 Lakh for that house. Payel wanted to get married to Sanjay and thus got killed.

Dead body in the fridge belonged to Maya, a co-worker of payel in drug business.

Ayesha, was the person who was the head of the drug business along with Sanjay. She was the one who had really offered Shilpa to stay in that flat.
