CID 16th June 2012 Written Update

SCENE 1

A tea stall owner calls Sunil and asks him to take the tray of tea and coffee inside the conference room. While Sunil does so, a man stops him and asks what is he taking inside. The boy says that he is taking coffee for everyone and tea for Anand Sahab, and leaves. The Man who had asked the question is not shown in the camera; he says that he would make sure that it is Anand’s last tea ever.

Scene 2

Conference room

Some people are sitting around a conference table and are waiting for Mr.Anand, the head of the company. After sometime, Anand arrives, and discussions about their newly aquired company starts. After a while, a man, Subhash, enters with a lady and starts accusing Anand of taking over his company by dishonest means. Anand gets furious as well and they start arguing with each other over the issue. The arguement gets heated up and Anand takes out his gun and threatens Subhash to leave before he crosses his limit. Subhash continues to argue and Anand shoots. To everyone’s surprise, Subhash remains unhurt whereas Anand gets shot by a bullet on his chest and dies on the spot. CID is called.

ACP, Abhijeet, Freddy arrives. They check the body and find no exit point of the bullet on Anand’s body. CID concluded that someone shot at him from a distance. ACP interogates the people present there and comes to know that Anand had fired his gun in order to kill Subhash, but instead he himself got shot. The team checks the gun and finds nothing suspicious in it. Freddy and Abhijeet look for the gun in the house, outside the house and also if anyone present there has it, but finds nothing. They ask the man among the people who called them if anyone has left the house after the murder, to which he replies that he didnt let anyone leave the spot after the incident took place.

Scene 3

Forensic Lab

Dr.Salunke and Dr.Tarika scans the body again and finds no bullet. After repeated scanning, Salunke notices some metal pieces inside the body. Abhijeet enters with Freddy and Nikhil; asks Salunke if he has found anything substantial. Salunke informs him that no bullet has been found yet, to which Abhijeet gets annoyed. They tell him about the metal pieces and that there were traces of Liquid Nicotene(a dangeorous poison) in Anand’s body. Abhijeet wonders what the reason of Anand’s death could be. Did he die because of the bullet or the poison?

Scene 4

Conference Room

Abhijeet and ACP asks the group of people again if Anand had eaten anything at the office, to which Anand’s secretary replied that he only drank tea. ACP suggests that may be the poison was in the tea, and asks if anyone else drank that tea. However, he is told that Anand was the only one to drink it, as others drank coffee instead. They tell ACP that the tea was always brought by Sunil.
ACP and Abhijeet interogate the man at the tea stall. He tells them he has no idea where Sunil is since a long time as he was not even in his home. Abhijeet searches the tea stall and finds no poison there. While leaving, ACP notices some blood stains at a distance, and finds a dead body there. The tea stall owner confirms that the body belonged to Sunil. He was shot in his head.
They re-enter the conference room and asks the people if they had heard 2 bullet shots. But to their surprise, everyone had heard just one.

Scene 5

Forensic lab

Salunke confirms that Sunil had died of Anand’s gun. Further, there was no poison in the tea. Abhijeet says that Sunil must have died accidentally, when Anand was trying to shoot Subhash. At the same time someone else shot Anand and thus he too died.

Scene 6

Conference Room

Freddy does the Gun powder test over the people present there. However, thats proves to be of no use. ACP and Abhijeet discuss the possiblities of the event and conclude that Anand must have been killed by someone standing at a very large distance or else he would have been seen by someone. Further, the killer must have used a rifle. Right then, Abhiheet recieves an SMS from Tarika.

Scene 7

Forensic Lab

Abhijeet visits the lab again, and is all praises for Tarika ji for finding the bullet finally. Salunke says that the bullet isnt actually found, just the secret has been found. He goes on to show the team 2 kinds of bullets on the computer screen, one are the normal bullets and the others are the Dum Dum Bullets, which are not that pointed. Salunke explains that these bullets were invented by a man in Kolkata’s Dum DUm area and thats why the name. The bullet has a unique ability to disintegrate into metal pieces after it enters the body. He further adds, that the poison entered the body through the same bullet.

Scene 8

Anand’s home

Abhijeet and Viivek visit Anand’s home and meets his wife. She tells them that Anand was a short tempered man and was also recieveing some wierd phone calls since few days. On further interogation, she says she isnt aware about the caller or the matter , but the last time Anand spoke to the man, he rang up Akash, his PA, after the call and gave him an urgent job to do. However, Akash hadnt yet visited them after that call. CID team leaves, stands outside and discusses about the case when Anand’s driver comes and tells them that Anand had recieved a similar call on his way to the conference hall as well. He said that Anand told the man on the other side to do whatever he wishes to do and he will do his own way.

Scene 9

Bureau

Daya gets the phone records of Anand. He tells ACP that Anand used to speak with Akash and Subhash for the maximum number of times since the last few days. ACP wonders why would Anand speak so much to Akash, when Akash being his PA must have been with him all the time. Daya adds that his conversations with Akash were never more than 5-10 seconds long. Furthermore, Akash had sent Anand an sms on the day of Anand’s death at 12.30 pm, whereas Anand had died at 11.30 itself. This means that Akash was unaware about Anand’s death. The SMS was a warning for Anand so that he didnt take over SUbhash’s company. Anand had written that he would tell him the reason when he meets him.

Scene 10

Akash’s home

Abhijeet and Vivek visit Akash’s home. They find the doors locked, look around for any other entry point and are about to unlock the door when Abhijeet notices some marks on the door and the lock. They realise that some one must have tried to forcibly unlock the door or something.They hear a TICK-TOCK sound coming from inside and guess that there might be a bomb inside. Abhijeet asks Vivek to get the areal camera from the car. They use the camera to locate the bomb through the gap below the door. The bomb is found to be connected to the door, so that it blasts off as soon as someone opens the door. Abhijeet says that the bomb doesnt look that powerful, so they shift back and shoot at the door- BOOM. The door gets blasted off. Abhijeet and Viivek find no one inside the house.

Scene 11

Bureau

ACP is informed about the events at Akash’s house by Abhijeet on phone. ACP shows concern and asks him if he and Viivek are safe and also asks them to be careful. Abhijeet tells him that he thinks Akash is in some sort of a danger. After a while, a phone rings in the bureau. None of the officer’s phones were ringing, so they look for the cell and find Akash calling on Anand’s number. Freddy recieves the call. Akash thinks its Anand and asks for help as his life is in danger. Akash is shown to be in a jungle and loses contact. ACP asks to immedietely trace Akash’s number and save him.

Scene 12

At the jungle

Akash is being followed by a set of goons.They hear a car coming towards the area, when Akash tries to hurry, trips and gets hit by a stone and falls in front of ACP’s car. ACP tells Nikhil to catch the group of people and tries to speak to Akash. He tells Akash about Anand’s death and says something like “smuggling”. In the meantime, Nikhil follows the group of men but fails to catch them inspite of trying hard. Freddy finds a cable stuck below Akash’s belt and gives it to ACP. They check it properly and find copper wire inside the cable along with silver wires. ACP realizes that Akash must have spoken about smuggling of silver via these cables.

Scene 13

Subhash’s godown

ACP, Nikhil and Freddy visit Subhash’s godown. They check the cables properly and find such silver wires inside every cable. The security guard says that he was completely unaware of the illegal business.

Scene 14

Bureau

Subhash is summoned and interogated. He refuses to know anything about the smuggling of silver wires. In the meantime, Sachin arrives with the Bomb report. It says that the bombs were made up of Dynamite, Gunpowder and some other chemicals. ACP asks his team to look for the people who make such bombs.

Scene 15

Bomb maker’s house

Daya and Sachin visit a place where they suspect the bombs was made. They find the bomb making devices and materials and catch the man who resides there. The man refuses and says that he is unaware of all these and has no idea how the materails reached his home. On further searching, Sachin finds the bottle of liquid nicotene. Daya gives a tight slap across the man’s face and he speaks up; says he was paid to kill Akash and Anand.

Scene 16

Subhash’s factory

ACP, Nikhil and Freddy raid the factory where the silver wires were inserted in the cables. They find the same people there, who were following Akash in the jungle. On interogation, they say that they were working on someone else’s orders. ACP asks Who is that person ?

Scene 17

Bureau

ACP, Nikhil, Sachin and Daya present along with Subhash with his wife and Anand’s wife.

ACP asks one by one if they had killed Anand and whether they were aware of the smuggling business, to which everyone denies. Sachin brings in the bomb maker, Vijay into the Bureau and he points at Subhash’s wife being the culprit. Before anyone could do anything, she takes out her gun and is about to shoot Vijay when Nikhil snatches away the gun from her. Anand’s wife slaps her for murdering her husband.

Confession : She murdered Anand because she thought, he would come to know about her smuggling business. She had to kill Akash as he had already come to know about it. Subhash says that he never thought that his wife would be involved in all this, to which she replies that it was her who handled all the business matters as Subhash was addicted to alcohol and was always drunk. She says she had made a full proof plan but unfortunately CID team caught her. ACP gives the Faansi dialogue yet again.
