CID 11th August 2012 Written Update

Freddy KI Biwi Ek Khooni ?

Scene 1 : The episode starts with a lady in the parking lot walking up to her car, just as she’s about to open it someone comes from behind covering her mouth with a handkerchief containing chloroform thus leading to her falling unconscious.
The next shot has CID team investigating her dead body in the Parking lot. The workers of the company she worked for recognise her to be Radhika. While investigating Abhijeet sees Freddy looking here and there and worried. On being asked Freddy tells this lady is Radhika, his wife’s boss and wonders why his wife is nowhere to be seen.
Sachin sees the injuries of the woman and concludes that she’s been stabbed multiple times on her back.
Abhijeet speaks to Ramesh, the parking attendant who had called CID after seeing the body.

He tells that the last time he had seen Radhika it was around 1:15 am when she was walking towards her car and seemed to be in tension, after that he went into his cabin and in the morning around 5 AM when he came he saw her dead body.

Abhijeet speaks to the workers of the company especially those who had stayed back late night in the office working along with Radhika.
A worker Nitesh tells Abhijeet that he had left a little earlier than 3 other people who were wroking with Radhika as his daughter was being treated in the hospital nearby.
He moves over to the 2nd guy Gautam who also replies saying he had left earlier than Radhika to visit a restaurant nearby.

At that time Freddy comes over telling his wife Smita isn’t answering the phone which is worrying him.
A lady,Nisha who also works there tells them that Smita hasn’t come to office which leaves Freddy surprised as she’d left for office earlier than Freddy.
Sachin brings a handkerchief he found near the lift which Freddy recognises to be of Smitha’s.

Abhijeet and Freddy decide to check the office while Sachin is told to send the body to the forensic lab.

Freddy gets to searching the office while Abhijeet speaks to Nisha asking when she left last night, she replies saying that she and Vijay had left the office around 11:30 in the night.

The workers tell that Radhika had grown to be irritated and frustrated in the last few days … she used to get angry for small stuff unnecessarily.

Freddy searches the whole building and finds a letter in Radhika’s room.
Here Nisha tells that Radhika had no families and no enemies though 1 day back she did have an argument with Smitha.

Freddy comes and tells Abhijeet that Smitha is nowhere to be seen and that he found a termination letter on Radhika’s table but with no one’s name written on it.

They check Radhika’s laptop and find that the termination letter was written on Smitha’s name.

Abhijeet hints Freddy that the proofs seem to indicate that it might be Smitha behind Radhika’s murder.

Scene 2

Abhijeet,Freddy and Sachin come to Freddy’s building to see that Smitha’s scooty is outside the building.
They go inside to check if Smitha’s back,but find Freddy’s apartment locked. Freddy tells that Smitha never left without her scooty. Abhijeet asks him to open the door with duplicate keys.
They go inside the house but don’t find anyone. They start searching the house and Abhijeet finds blood drops dripping from above the almirah.

Abhijeet check above the almirah and finds a key soaked in blood. He shows it to Freddy who tells him that the key doesn’t belong to his house.
Abhijeet wonders if Smitha brought them inside and tells Freddy that they might have to take some of Smitha’s items to match the blood and fingerprints on the keys with hers.

Freddy reluctantly agrees and Abhijeet tries to assure him.

Sachin while searching finds a pair of scissors soaked in blood in the hanging flower pot in Freddy’s balcony.
Abhijeet wonders if the stab marks on Radhika’s back might’ve been made with this pair of scissors.

Scene 3 :

In the forensic lab after matching the records Salukhe tells Freddy that the blood on the pair of scissors and the keys match with Radhika’s.
ACP and Sachin enter and ACP asks to whom the finger prints match and Salunkhe tells they match with Smitha’s. leaving Freddy disappointed.

Scene 4
Abhijeet,Freddy and Sachin once again come to Thrive Trading company (Radhika and Smitha’s Company) to check if the key belonged to that place.
The manager tells that the key belongs to the safe in the office but the key used to be only with Radhika.
They open the safe to find it empty. The manager tells them that the safe contained important documents, Company bond and all cash.
Sachin says that Smitha first stole the stuff in the safe and then killed Radhika, which angers Freddy.
He refuses to believe that his wife has murdered Radhika.

Scene 5
ACP,Abhijeet and Sachin discuss the case thinking that after murdering Radhika, Smitha took the key and stole the stuff in the safe and then went away.
Abhijeet sees Freddy getting depressed with the discussion and tries to defend Smitha for a minute saying that no one in the office had seen Smitha coming, though ..

Freddy comes to ACP sir saying that someone is trying to screw Smitha in the case and that his wife is innocent. ACP refuses to believe even after Abhijeet tells that for once they can think over what Freddy’s saying and give that thought a chance but ACP rejects saying that all evidences are against Smitha.

Scene 6

Daya and Nikhil in the qualis are chasing Smitha’s phone no. Daya wonders why Smitha is behaving in such a manner and why someone like her would murder someone.
Nikhil tells him the the signals indicate towards the left, and Daya says Smitha might be running away from the city as that’s what her mobile movement indicate.

Here Abhijeet and Freddy once again come to Freddy’s house to investigate. Freddy wonders why would someone try to screw Smitha in the case to which Abhijeet replies saying it must be some enemy of Freddy’s or Smitha’s.Who wanted to seek revenge from Freddy.
(Atleast someone is trying to give a chance to what Freddy’s been saying ) .
They decide to check the places where they found proofs against Smitha in the house and start with the almirah.

Abhijeet looks at the almirah and thinks that to reach this height she must’ve needed to take help of a high stool, Freddy on this tells that Smitha had vertigo problem and Abhijeet tells that’s exactly that is what he was thinking of as Freddy had told him once that she used be scared of heights.
Freddy tells that even the hanging flower pots in the balcony used to be watered by him because of her fear of heights.

This makes Abhijeet strengthen his belief that Smitha is innocent and that someone else came and placed these items in the house during Freddy and Smitha’s absence.

They go to check the house door of the house, and finds it to be perfectly alright.
Abhijeet thinks that the guy entered using a duplicate key.
They decide to meet a key making guy near Freddy’s house.

Here Daya and Nikhil continue tracing Smitha’s no. and see that it indicates towards a bus they’ve been following.

They stop the bus and check inside but do not find Smitha in it. They call on her no. and find her mobile fallen down under the back row seats.

They ask the conductor who tells them that a lady was sitting in the back seat and had booked a ticket for Pune but got down in between.
They show Smitha’s photo but the conductor says he’s got no idea as the lady was wearing sunglasses and had covered her face with a black cloth.

Here Freddy and Abhijeet meet the key maker in the area who tells that it must’ve been a guy named chotu who might have made the duplicate key.

Scene 7

Here in the bureau Sachin informs ACP that he checked Smitha’s call log and that all he could find were most of the calls were made to Freddy while some to her office and nothing else.
At this time Salunkhe comes in saying that on investigating Smitha’s mobile he found Heroine drug traces on it.

They wonder that why has Smitha started taking drugs. He tells Sachin to call up Daya and tell him to get hold of this drug’s pedlars.

Scene 8

Daya and Nikhil disguised come to meet their informer Shambhu. He sees the drugs and tells that they’ve been exported from foreign and that a guy named Gagan is the one who can do that.
Shambhu indicates towards a guy,Raghu and tells them that this person works for Gagan.

Here Abhijeet and Freddy meet Chotu and on interrogating he tells that a woman had come to meet him and ask him to prepare the key for him. He says he doesn’t remember the face very well but when Freddy shows him Smitha’s pic he says that this was definitely not the woman who’d come.
He gives them the envelope in which the money was kept which he was told to take from under a tree after leaving the key there.

Here Daya and Nikhil catch Raghu. They ask him about Gagan’s whereabouts but he refuses saying he knows nothing. Nikhil finds the dead body of a lady there and Raghu tells that it might be Gagan who killed this lady.
They’re hoping that the body doesn’t belong to Smitha.

Scene 9

ACP and Sachin are discussing the case when Abhijeet and Freddy come up telling ACP about Chotu and that Smitha is innocent. He shows the envelope to ACP in which the lady gave money to Chotu which belongs to none other that Thrive Trade Company.
ACP tells Abhijeet and Freddy about the body that Daya found which shatters Freddy .
At this time Salunkhe enters telling that the body doesn’t belong to Smitha. but Nisha who was Thrive Trading Company’s employee.

Abhijeet tells ACP that the workers there said Nisha used to spend most of her time in the godown of the company as she had the godown charge.

Scene 9

ACP,Freddy, Nikhil and Rajat come into the godown and start searching.
They open the cartons to find packets of drugs in them.
The watchman informs ACP that more cartons are due to come this day from Ring Road Godown.

Scene 10

ACP,Freddy, Nikhil and Rajat come to the Ring Road Godown and they see a truck being loaded with cartons and Freddy recognises one of the men to be Vijay who worked at Thrive Trading Company and the other one as Gagan.

They start chasing them a small shootout happens and they finally catch them. Freddy goes inside and frees Smitha.

Confession :

Vijay confesses that he used to bring in drugs into the nation in Thrive’s cartons and Radhika got to know of it and that is why he killed her in the parking lot.
Here Smitha tells Freddy that Nisha had met her on her way to office that day and took her for a coffee, in which something was mixed leading to her feeling drowsy and falling unconscious.

Vijay confesses that he tried screwing up Smitha in the murder as he knew she was a CID officer’s wife. So if he put the blame on her it would divert the team from the rest and he killed Nisha because he feared she would confess to the CID team.

Here Smitha tells Freddy on being asked about the drugs that Nisha was the one who used to take drugs.

ACP tells that they both deserve to be hanged for this crime.
