Scene 1
The court hearing starts. Meher is in the box. Judge says we decide that Meher has done murder of her brother Jagga. Everyone is shocked. They sentenced her to life imprisonment. Sarab and Harleen are shocked. Bitu and Rana are teary. Police take Meher to jail. Harleen and Sarab look at her. Sarab stops them. Inspector says you have only 5 minutes.

Media announces the news. They ask Meher a lot of questions. Sarab asks them to move aside. Param tries to feed Karan and says don’t cry. Papa will bring mama back. They will win any fight together. Meher says to Sarab you have to be my strength. Don’t cry like this. You have to be strong for the kids. Sarab sobs. He says to meet the kids. Meher says I will be weak if I meet them. sarab says they can’t live without you. Meher says everything happens with God’s will. Sarab says no, how can God be so unfair? I will snatch you from even God. He hugs her. Sarab says you are my life, my everything.

Scene 2
Kulwant cuts Meher’s picture and says you were like your mom, you stabbed people on the back, but you forgot you stabbed for your selfishness and I did it for you. That knife is still in my heart. I will destroy you and your family. Court gave your verdict, I will wait for you outside the jail and I will kill your Karan, Param and Sarab. Then I will ask you how you feel. Yuvi hears all this. Kulwant holds his hand. She sits on a chair of thrones. Yuvi says dadi it will hurt you. She screams.. She says will you take revenge? He says yes. I won’t leave anyone. He says I will destroy their family. Kulwant says then you have to become strong and dangerous. She gives him something to eat. They are made from neem leaves. She says eat the bitter laddu and make it part of yourself. It should remind you of what your bua did. He eats it completely.

Scene 3
Meher says to Sarab you have to be strong for me and our kids. Sarab holds and kisses her hands. Meher says our journey was till here only. Meher says promise me you will take care of our kids. He says you are coming back. Meher says promise me you won’t let them suffer. Sarab says you have to be there for me. We will go to the high court, the supreme court. Meher says take care of our kids. Keep them busy so they don’t think about me. Sarab says don’t say that. You will come back. Meher says I don’t want you and kids to have my shadow on them. We know I am innocent but the world considers me a murderer of my own brother. I don’t want my name to be attached to you or our kids. Sarab cries. Meher says you have to tell our kids that their Meher mama is no more in this world. Sarab is shocked. Meher is taken to jail.

Scene 3
Harleen discusses with the lawyers other ways to appeal. Kulwant comes in with ashes. Harleen is shocked to see her and says I came here to say sorry. There are two deaths, my Jagga and Meher. They are both no more in this world. Harleen says Meher didn’t kill Jagga. We will prove that. Kulwant says I won’t forgive her. I have written a death sentence for her. Even God can’t change my decision. She throws the ashes in her feet. Kulwant says these ashes will burn this house down.

Sarab runs towards Meher while the police take her away. They stop Sarab. Meher cries. Meher recalls her moments with Sarab. Meher sits in the van and cries. The doors shut down. Sarab screams Meher’s name.

Episode ends.

Precap: 5 years later… Grown up Karan is shown. Sarab tells Harleen that everything was going so well in their lives and then suddenly… there wasn’t a day he didn’t remember Meher. A small girl is shown. She says until her mother doesn’t say where her father is, she won’t eat. Meher is shown as her mother.
