Scene 1
Param says to Karan don’t cry. I will arrange the milk but where do I get it from. Param recalls he asked the kids how did they get money from? They said we beg. Meher says to sarab you won’t pick bucket. he says I listened to you now you listen to me. They come home. Meher says where are Param and Karan? Meher screams and looks for them. Sarab looks for them outside, Param begs for money. Meher and Sarab are looking for them. Param cries and says don’t cry Karan I will do something.

A woman tells Param they went towards the market. They had milk bottle top. Manav is also in the market. Param is about to come to him but Kaushal takes Manav from there. Param begs for money. Meher and Sarab come there. They are shocked. Meher goes to Param and slaps him. Sarab falls down. Meher says what were you doing? who told you to do this. Meher cries. Meher shouts come home. Meher takes Param home. Sarab is in shock. Sarab picks Karan.

Scene 2
Harleen says what is happening outside? Robbie says people are protesting. They are asking where is sarab and they are asking what will happen to the party? Pathak is leading them. He says Sarab hid. Where is he? Why is he not coming in front? These aren’t my questions. The public is asking these. They don’t have answers to give you. Who will represent Punjab now? We need a new face and new minister. Robbie says who? Pathak says that new face is.. Kulwant comes out of her car. Harleen is shocked. Harleen says security ask these people to go from here.

Meher says you begged people? Is that what I taught you? How dare you? She cries. Param says mama.. papa.. Karan’s milk was finished. He was crying. I asked uncle for milk and he said it’s for 70 rupees. So I asked people for help. I was asking for help of 70 rupees. Meher and Sarab cry. Param says I wasn’t begging. I was trying to be your good son. I know there’s no money in the house. Mama papa please forgive me. Meher sobs. Meher leaves. Param says mama forgive me. He says sorry papa. Sarab hugs him.

Meher cries and says why didn’t my hands break before slapping my Param. She hits her hands on the wall and slaps herself. Sarab says what are you doing? Meher says don’t stop me. I can’t face myself. I slapped my Param. He went to get milk for Karan. All of this happened because of me. Meher cries. God can’t forgive me. I hit him. I failed. Sarab says I failed. My son was begging because I couldn’t provide for them. I failed. Meher says you did everything. Sarab leaves crying.

Preca-Sarab is sitting upset and crying outside. Aditi sees his photos. Aditi says Sarab you will break and shatter. Your own kids will force you to come back to Gill house. Meher says Sarab ji where were you? I was waiting for you. Sarab goes to sleep without talking to her.
