Chandragupta informs Tarini that Dhananand killed her father. Tarini is shocked to hear that and says her father died in this house due to stomach injuries, Dhananand is cruel but cannot kill her father. Sthul brings Dhananand’s brother at sword point who accepts that Dhananand killed her father and only his brothers knew about this secret. He goes into flashback where Dhananand’s guru says his education is complete and he needs gurudakshina. Dhananand says he can ask anything in gurudakshina. Guru asks him to forget Tarini and go far away from her, he knows he loves Tarini and he can go to any extent to become whole Bharath’s king, he doesn’t want his daughter to be in pain seeing Dhananand’s wrongdoings. Dhananand says as he orders. Guru says he expected

same and tries to leave. Dhananand requests him to have food and go. Guru agrees. Dhananand mixes poison in guru’s poison and feeds him. Guru reaches home writhing in stomachache. Tarini gives him water. Guru drinks water and dies. Out of flashback, Dhananand’s brother requests Tarini to forgive him as he just followed Dhananand’s orders. Tarini spares him. He thanks Tarini and says he will go far away from Magadh and will not inform anyone what happened here. Tarini slits his throat and kills him saying betrayers should be punished this way; says Dhananand’s 2 brothers are still left.
Dhananand waiting for Tarini to return asks why she is taking so much time. Amartya says he will go and check. Dhananand says he will go and check as Tarini will get angry if someone else goes. He walks towards hut when Tarini comes out and says everything is fine, maa is sleeping, let us go. Dhananand sees blood stains on her clothes and worriedly asks if she is injured. Tarini says some injuries are unnoticed, mom’s nose bleeds due to internal injury and it fell on her clothes. Amartya thinks this cannot be nosebleed. Tarini returns to palace with Dhananand and taking him to lab says she heard this place is special for him, picks a poison bottle and asks whom did he kill with this poison. Dhanaand says a king who dared to provoke him, but there is no need for it as no king can dare against him. She picks another bottle and he says he killed a brahmin as he rejected to attend his administrative team as he is a barber king. She picks another bottle and he says he gave it to Chanakya, but Chanakya digested even this strong poison. She picks another bottle and asks whom did he kill with this. He reminisces killing his guru/Tarini’s father.

Chandragupta sadly tries to draw his mother’s picture. Durdhara asks what is he doing. He says he is trying to draw mother’s picture, but he cannot even pick one picture, he is a failed son and cannot give respect to his mother. Durdhara says he should follow her steps, he is merciful like his mother and gave another chance to Tarini. Chandragupta says she always boasts his morales and she is his backbone. Durdhara she is proud to be backbone of a great warrior and he has blessings of all parents whose children he will free from slavery. He says if she supports him, he will create a slavery-free Bharath. She emotionally hugs him.

Tarini asks Dhananand again whom did he kill with this poison bottle. Dhananand says if she does not trust him, she should pour this poison into his throat. She pulls poison away. He promises that he will not do anything which will hurt him. She hides poison bottle under her pallu. He says something is bothering her. She says her mother is ill and she wants him to help her cure her mother. He promises. Tarini thinks soon Amartya will be forced to leave his king.

Chanakya Niti: A spearhead and sword both help a person attack his enemy; sword stays near man and spearhead attack enemy from a distance, one should be careful about the enemies nearby to be alert.

Precap: Chandragupta tells Sthul that they will just capture Amartya and make Dhananand without anyone’s guidance.
