Jagatjala promises Amartya Rakshas that he will help king catch revolter. Amartya says good and walks away. Chandragupta relaxes and leaves from there. Jagatjala asks Durgam Dugu to keep an eye on Martand’s servant. Servant delivers Dhananand’s message brought via bird. Jagatjala thinks Amartya left just now and reads message that he is sending one of his army chief Chumbak to collect taxes from Bandi village by punishing revolters and spreading an example to others. Dahak gets same letter and informs his sister Nishumbha they have to go to Bandi village and find revolters there. After reading Dhananand’s letter, Jagatjala thinks king did a right thing. Martand enters and informs him that Arjun is teaching him swordsmanship. Jagatala permits him.

Chandragupta

hears Jagatjala’s conversation hiding. He teaches Martand swordsmanship and teaches him special whistling style. All his team hears his whistle and realize it is signal to meet at their secret place. Chandragupta tells Martand he cannot learn swordsmanship with stick, so he will get real sword for him. He reaches secret room where all his team gathers and informs them about Dhananand’s message. He says Dhananand wants to loot Bandi villagers who are already very poor. Jagatjala spies Chandragupta and seeing him disappearing thinks he must have gone into that room. He sends Durgam to check. Chandragupta’s team gets alert hearing someone coming and hide. Durgam enters room and sees maid Mura cleaning, says he heard more sounds from here. Mura says only she is here cleaning. He walks to her and flirts. She gets angry and walks away. Chanakya asks what did Durgam say. she thinks she should not make him worried for her and says he did not say anything. Chanakya asks her to be careful.
Dhananand walks to Dhurdhara who is painting and says he wants to tell his secret to her and tells how he has sent one army chief Chumbak to collect taxes from Bandi villagers who are very poor. He knows Chandragupta with his team reach there to rescue Bandi villagers, then his assassins Dahak and his sister Nishumba will assassin Chandragupta and his team. He asks how is his plan. Durdhara asks if he thinks he can catch Chandragupta easily, he has tried many times before. Dhananand angrily spoils her painting and warns not to paint flowers or his face again.

Chumbak reaches Bandi village and forces villagers to pay taxes. Villagers cry that they don’t have any money. Chumbak brutally punishes them. Chandragupta wearing mask reaches to rescue them.

Chanakya Niti: Chanakya shows spinning wheel and says if one spoke moves ahead another takes it place, similarly once king dies, his son takes his place, it is not necessary that king’s son is also equally competent and if he is not, then praja has to pay its price; in that case, one has to choose a competent king who can spin this wheel with speed.

Precap: Chandragupta and his team figths with Dhananand’s soldiers. One of them informs army is not expert in fights. Chanakya says Dhananand has tricked them and sent fake soldiers.
