Chandragupta praises Chanakya that he fooled not only him and Lubdak, but even king Dhananand. Chanakya asks if his praising words means he accepted his offer. Chandragupta says yes, he will go to palace and hide his secret. Chanakya says if Chandragupta will hide his secret, even he will hide Chandragupta’s secret. Once he leaves, Chandragupta’s friends tell Chanakya that Chandragupta is their childhood friend and they share happiness and sorrows till now, they just want him to be successful in life. Chanakya assures that Chandragupta will be future king of united Bharath.

Chandragupta walks into palace and chats with guards that he is princess’ bodyguard, they should tell their names. He walks into Dhanananad’s room and gets afraid seeing his head on table.

He touches head. Dhanaanand laughs and says he is given task of protecting his most loved one Durdhara and he should not just do it as a duty, but as his responsibility and as a test, he has to sacrifice his most favorite thing which only he owns. Chandragupta thinks if insane king wants his body part. Dhananand cuts Chandragupta’s hair tress and says he has to sacrifice whole hair and pouring water on hair tress asks to take oath that he will protect Magadh’s pride and will be loyal. Chandragupta reminisces Chanakya asking him to take oath that he will be spy king’s family and will inform their secrets to him and be loyal to Chanakya and not royal family. Dhananand asks to take oath that he will protect Durdhara by risking his life and even sacrifice it if needed, he will be loyal to royal family whole life. Chandragupta stands tensed. Dhananand says he did not see him so silent till now, answer yes or no. Chandragupta chants samrat Dhananand ki jai ho and asks if it is enough. Dhananand calls Bhadrasaal and says boy is ready now, he can explain his work.
Chandragupta’s friends pile up huge wooden logs and stones and asks Chanakya if he will train Chandragupta with these. Chanakya says he wants to end Chandragupta’s stubbornness. Stulbhadra laughs and says he can try. He then sees only 2 small rotis and alleges Chanakya for stealing his roti. Chanakya shows hawk carrying roti and asks him to take it from hawk. Stulbhadra shouts.

Mura walks to washing area to wash clothes and seeing Veerbhadra’s blood stained clothes and Dhananand killing him angrily tears clothes. Chandragupta enters shouting to stop right there. He walks to her and says he can understand her pain, her son was killed in front of her, but she should be careful and not go against king Dhananand as she is weak and cannot face Dhananand. Mura says fire sparks together become big fire, her curse will destroy Dhananand.

Chanakya addresses that he wants to get changes in the country and end cruel rule, you all can watch how he does that with his intelligence.

Precap: Durdhara provokes her old bodyguard that king made a small kid as her bodyguard and snatched his right, if he will not fight back for his right. Bodyguard attacks Chandragupta.
