“Being an actor, I have to keep my diet balanced” : Ankit Gera

The much loved TV actor Ankit Gera better known as Mayank likes to eat Butter Chicken a lot, but says that he has to maintain his diet as he in the acting profession.

As we know that our TV celebs are very much conscious about their physique, but they never miss a chance to have lots and lots of food whenever they get a chance. Our Telly celebs love to be known as a foodie. One such big time food lover is the good looking actor Ankit Gera who plays Mayank in Zee TV’s popular show Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke.

Are you a foodie?

Yes, I am but I can’t be like a foodie now because I am an actor and I have to keep my diet balanced.

Which is your most preferred cuisine?

Continental.

Your favorite mouth-watering dish?

Butter Chicken.

Which restaurant do you prefer the most?

Alfredo’s.

Do you like spending time in the kitchen?

Yes, I like to spend time in the kitchen whenever I am free.

Your most memorable kitchen moment, be it happy or a disastrous one?

Once my servant had gone to his village and my friends had come at my place. Then we cooked biryani, butter chicken and made an egg salad. We spent a good time together by playing loud music in the kitchen and dancing. After that we all ate the food and played guitar.

Which is your favorite quick cheap healthy meal?

I will have something from Subway.
