Behnein 7th January 2011 Written Update

Akaashi out on the roads, calling out his name [come on really, who does that?!] And she almost gets into an accident, but she finally finds him sitting by a tree and goes to him. He looks all depressed and lost and she yells at him, for listening to whatever everyone says to him. She hugs him and he remains reactionless and she continues yelling at him, telling him she loves him, and nothing else matters. He remains frozen. And she doesn’t notice but drags him home.

Karan is sitting around at the psychiatric ward when Devika comes inside and he starts calling for his mother and crying and she gives him medicine. He says he wants to go home and go to his mother and he throws the medicine to the side. Devika calls Purva, and Karan smirks.Devika comes into the room with Purva and Karan begins to act again, and he holds Purva’s hand, and she gets him to start eating and actually feeds him herself. Devika talks to her again about Karan needing love.

Smriti talking to Purva about Akaashi and saying that she’s busy and she can’t even take a day off. The woman comes and hands her a pack of files and says that the boss wants a presentation in an hour on an Excel sheet, but Smriti doesn’t know how to use Excel so she offers to teach her. As she is teaching her, Smriti sees the newspaper on the side with Akaashi’s and Shamad’s faces on the front cover.

Shamad sitting around at home when Akaashi comes in with chai and gives it to him, while he just looks depressed and walks away. She calls out to him but he doesn’t respond. Purva comes in right then with the newspaper in her hand and shows it to Akaashi. Purva tells her not to tell Shamad, but Akaashi is worrying about how everyone else will find out.

Purva is putting Prem to sleep thinking about karan and his sorry state when Mihir comes in worrying, and she tells him she went to meet Karan and wants to talk about that. Mihir says they’ll talk later and he’s getting late.

Shamad at the factory working when all the other workers looking at the newspaper talking about SHamad is looking and one of the other workers begins to read it to him. And it says Love is blind, and this was proven when the woman who won the Mrs.Baroda and her husband came up. He is a small time worker but Ms. Akaashi said that she won because of his love and trust. The factory owner comes and begins yelling at everyone to start working, when the big boss comes. Shamad sees how royally he is being treated, how he is dressed in all nice clothes. All the workers are saying that when one has money, everyone’s mouths are shut. It’s all about the money.

Precap: Akaashi yelling at journalists, telling them that she doesn’t want to give any interview and how dare they even call her house asking for one. The journalist says it’s not his fault, and it was Shamad who had done the manhandling and it’s a criminal offence. Shamad hears all this and yellsa t the journalist, and says that they both wil sort out the issue now and he’s going over there. Akaashi tries to stop him but he doesn’t listen and leaves.
