Behnein 10th January 2011 Written Update
Akaashi picks up a phonecall from journalists who want to
interview her and she yells at them, saying they made her life miserable, how
they talked ill about Shamad. Shamad picks up the phone, and the journalists
yelling that what Shamad did is a criminal offense, hurting a reporter, and now
Shamad yells, saying that he’s going to take care of the matter now and runs
out of the house. Everyone tries to stop him, but he doesn’t listen.
Anokhi saying she wants to be a wedding planner, and Bhavesh
comes and jokes around about her not wanting to do event managing but wedding
planning, and they both argue over whether or not wedding planner is worth it
or should they stick to event management. Purva comes and Anokhi accuses that
Bhavesh might not be too happy with her, and Bhavesh laughs saying that he’s
probably the only one that could deal with her, and they both tease each other.
Shamad angry and rushing into the journalist’s office where
security guards are trying to stop him and he’s making a fuss. The editor comes
and Shamad yells at them for disturbing him and Akaashi, and continues flipping
out. They recognize him as Shamaddas, Mrs Baroda’s servant like husband. They
say that they did him a huge favor, that even after lifting a hand n one of the
journalists, they didn’t say anything. Right then, an even more important man
comes in and yells at the editor for writing stuff against him, and this time
the editor doesn’t yell back but is really really nice about the entire matter,
apologizing and whatnot, and Shamad is watching. If he had money, he would have
been treated better.
Bhavesh at an office, and it’s Smriti’s office. Bhavesh
comes out of the office and seems dejected because he didn’t get the event.
Shamad thinking about what happened in the reporter’s office
and over the past few days, how money changes everything. Shamad quits his job
because he thinks he didn’t get enough money for his overtime, and everyone
says that he’s not Mrs. Baroda, he’s just her husband.
Everyone sitting around at the Sanghvi house, and Dr. Devika
comes right then, and says that Karan’s state is really bad and he’s not eating
at all. Purva also tells everyone that maybe they should bring Karan home to
make him better, and Kamini yells that he shouldn’t be coming back and he won’t
be. And Purva comes to defend him, and Kamini blatantly refuses.
They come to see Karan and see how he’s in a really bad
state and Purva is really sympathetic towards him, and Kamini says that they
shouldn’t bring him home, there’s prem and shalaka, and shalaka’s wedding, and
he’ll be a hassle. And Devika now pleads, and Kamini finally agrees.
