Scene 1
Sidhi gets Gaurav’s call. She is surprised to hear his voice. Gaurav says I am here in the village, I am here to take you. Sidhi cries hearing that.

Sidhi runs to the mandir to meet Gaurav. She finds him standing there and smiles. Sidhi runs and tries to hug him but Gaurav grabs her neck and shouts that I went against my parents for you, you have been playing with me. I trusted you but I was mistaken, everything is clear now. You never loved me, you and your lover tried to kill me but I fought back. I fought my parents and came back to get you but I am the biggest fool. When I came here for the marriage, your lover welcomed me. Sidhi says no. Gaurav says your father has accepted in the press conference that you had an affair with that goon and you tried to run away with him from the wedding venue. He says I will punish you now. Gaurav tries to strangle her, Sidhi coughs and loses breath but Shiva comes there and pushes him away. He shouts at Gaurav that if you are seen here again ever or if you try to meet her again then I will burn you alive. Sidhi is stunned to see him there. Gaurav smirks and says Sidhi your lover is here to save you, now tell me this is a lie as well? Sidhi grabs Shiva and slaps him hard. Shiva glares at her. He leaves from there. Sidhi rushes to Gaurav and asks if he is fine? He pushes her away and says don’t touch me. He says how will you look at yourself now? You just liked to cheat me? I will never forgive you for what you have done with me. You will feel the pain that you have given me, you will pay for your deeds somehow. Sidhi cries and says listen to me. Gaurav tries to get up and slips. Sidhi tries to rush to him but Gaurav leaves from there. Sidhi weeps for him.

Akka Bai is sitting with the minister. The minister says you should be appreciated for the way you handled this situation. Ishwar hides and hears all that. Sarkar says Akka Bai played the game which no one could understood. The minister agrees and leaves. Ishwar comes there and asks Akka Bai why she made him lie in the press conference? Akka Bai says we didn’t have a choice but to lie, you could save your honor because of this lie, you will get your respect back and I will protect my seat. She asks him to not worry and he can return to his house with his family. Ishwar looks on and leaves. Bai tells Sarkar to start preparing for Shiva’s wedding, I want everyone to see that I can have a grand wedding even for my puppy. Sarkar says okay.

Shiva comes in the mandir and rings the bell. He recalls Sidhi’s slap and tries to control his anger. His hand starts bleeding as he keeps ringing the bell.

Scene 2
Bhavin tells Bai that Shiva’s mother Mangal is here. Bai says what? She starts getting ready and puts on her jewelry. She says I know Mangal likes riches so she will see my riches now.

Mangal comes to Bai’s house and is impressed by the house. She says I wish Shiva gets all this as well. Akka Bai comes there and greets her. Mangal is mesmerized by her clothes and jewelry. Bai says I want to congratulate you on your son’s wedding. Where are sweets? Mangal says it’s like death for us. Bai says why? Mangal says he is stubborn that he will marry that master’s daughter who doesn’t have enough food in his house? I am getting proposals from rich families for Shiva. Akka Bai says but Ishwar is a pious man. Mangal says Shiva is getting married to that girl because of you so I want to do a trade, you should give me 50 lacs. Bai says what? Mangal says it’s not much for you, Shiva calls your Ayyi but I gave birth to him, I can emotionally blackmail him that I will kill myself then he will not do this marriage. Do you want to try that? Sidhi and her family come home. Sidhi sits in the garden alone. Ishwar is sad to see her like that. Ishwar tells Malini that I am not able to look at her, I am helpless today, I am not able to protect her, I don’t know how to tell her that I can’t do anything for her. Malini glares at him and says you will do what you want to, what was your helplessness that made you sacrifice your daughter? We could have left this village but no your respect is important. You could have found another way out. Ishwar cries and says I didn’t have another way, trust me. If we tried to leave the village then Akka Bai wouldn’t let us, this shame would never leave Sidhi. I was broken and didn’t have a choice, think from my angle as well. I couldn’t do anything.. He weeps and leaves from there. Malini recalls everything that happened from the time Sidhi got kidnapped.
