Scene 1:
Location: Parmeet’s place
Dadaji says that its true that parmeet isnt going to come, and hence bani would have to go home, as along with parmeet, bani doesnt have a right to be here. manpreet and others are shocked. manpreet asks whats bani’s fault in this, that she should be punished. Dadaji says that bani’s punishment is that she’s parmeet’s wife. Dadaji is adamant on this descision, saying that they cant protect bani’s respect now, as when they dont have relation with parmeet as son, how can they have relation with bani, as the daughter in law. manpreet reminds him about his judgement in the sabha and the logic behind it, then why not in his house. Dadaji says that it was for outsiders, and not for the house. others too try and raise a question, but he stops them, saying that his descision would be final, just like its on the outside. He reminds them about the girl’s unfortunate death. He says that they wont argue anymore, and bani wont get to stay here. He leaves. Surjeet tries to compose a distraught manpreet.

Bani eyes parmeet’s tshirts and photos, thinking about whree is parmeet and why is he not calling, as she’s getting tired waiting for his call, and cant even see now, without the calls. She asks him to atleast call up once for her sake. Manpreet sees her like this, and is very upset. she is determined that she wont let this happen to bani, come what may.

Later, Dadaji tells manpreet to ask everyone to get ready for the party, that he just consented for, on the phone. As manpreet is about to go, he asks her not to include bani. manpreet is shocked.

Kuljeet warns randheer to pay attention on his work, and not let his mand wander off, directing his hints to his philandering. manpreet asks them to get ready. when they ask where are they going, manpreet tells them about it, and asks them to be ready in an hour. as kuljeet goes with surjeet to get ready, manpreet asks randeep to get ready, when she ses her eyeing bani. He leaves. As bani goes to get ready, manpreet asks her to wait home, as someone has to stay, for the house’s safety and also for receiving parmeet’s call, if it comes on the landline. Bani agrees, while manpreet goes to get ready. Randeep hears about bani being alone in the house, from a distance.

all are ready and start leaving one by one. manpreet asks bani to take care of herself. Seeing randeep lingering, she asks him and gagan also to come along. As he leaves, the servants close the main door, and gets back to tending to his work. She eyes the big empty house.

Scene 2:
Location: Soham’s place
Rajji tries hard to keep herself awake, for the akhand Jyoti, while dozing off due to tiredness. she is surprised when soham too come sand helps her keep the Jyoti alight, by preventing winds to douse it, with his hands along with hers.

The next morning, the puja and the rituals begin and is completed successfully, amonsgt devotees along with soham’s family. Rajji gives prashad to everyone, including soham. Buaji eyes rajji, while wishing the guests off. Later, angad is very happy that the puja was successful, and also praises rajji for this and her efforts. Buaji agrees, while rajji stands silently. He gives rajji the entire credit for this. Buaji asks him to stop now, as the truth is that she has failed in the test. they are all shocked. angad asks surprisingly what does she mean. Buaji says that it was decided, that she wont take anyone’s help, and tells them about how she had fallen asleep, but soham came and helped her out. She says that hence she failed. They are all tensed, while rajji is sad. angad asks her not to be sad, as she’s completely pass for him. Rajji leaves from there.

Seeing rajji working in the kitchen, Buaji asks Kuki to give an account of how many mistakes she has committed. Simran gets buaji’s medicines, and she uses this to taunt rajji, that this is what an ideal bahu does. all are tensed to hear kuki, about her calculations. rajji too anxiously awaits the answer. kuki says that its just one, about the Akhand jyoti. Buaji is angry and reprimands her for not being very observant. But buaji says that each mistake counts and is punishable. angad asks her to be lenient as its humane to err. Buaji asks him not to take rajji’s defence. angad says that she too must have made some mistake. Kuki intanslt reminds of the time buaji had forgotten to make prashad. Buaji, rendered speechless, diverst the topic, and asks them to go to sleep, as its getting late. After all leave, bujai reprimands kuki for talking too much. Kuki apologises. Buaji asks her not to be oversmart, and kuki hastily leaves for the kitchen to avoid her ire. Buaji wonders why did she have to open her mouth.

Scene 3:
location: Parmeet’s house.
Bani is sitting with her mobile, when the servant asks if he should lay the dinner for her. she says yes. She goes to the dining table, and the servant lays out the food for her. As bani takes her dinner, and the servant asks her to be excused for the night, bani complies. After that, she is in tears, being alone in this big house when she hears the doorbell ringing insistently. She happily thinks that it must be Parmeet, and rushes to open the door. But she is shocked when she finds out who it is, when she sees that its actually parmeet, who asks him if she actually likes the surprise. Bani instantly vents out her entire frustration at him, and he apologises and says that he would be here with her forever now. Unable to believe, she asks if he’s not just jesting around. Just then, her dream ends, and she finds her face to face with Randeep. she instantly covers her face with a pallu. The screen freezes on her shocked and tensed face.

Precap: Randeep in his drunk state, tries to force himself on Bani. she struggles to free herself from his grasp, and finally having done it, she runs out, with him following her with lusty eyes. She hides behind a pillar, scared to death. But he finds her out, and the horror of the inevitable is written huge on her face.
