Balika Vadhu 25th February 2013 Written Episode

Scene 1:
Location: Jaipur and udaipur haveli
Shiv calls up mahi who gives him relationship advice saying that he shouldnt go after telling anandi, and instead surprise her, by lying that he would be able to come next night only, and catch her offguard by showing up in the morming, when she wouldnt expect him. Mahi explains that this is romance and not lying, but shiv isnt comfortable with lying ot her. But mahi tells him that if not for himself, he can do this for anandi’s sake as she would be very happy. After he cancels the call, shiv thinks on mahi’s advice and wonders whether he would be able to lie to anandi.

Scene 2:
Location: Shiv’s house in jaitsar and udaipur haveli
Sanchi and meenu sees that anandi is fidgeting around with her food disinterestedly. Ananadi says that its nothing like that, when meenu asks her to eat and not keep missing shiv. Sanchi says that she didnt know that even village girls are capable of romancing and spereation. But meenu tells sanchi, hinting at anandi that village girls have a much more intensified love as compared to the city girls whose love doesnt have that strong foundation. Ananadi is shy and leaves from there in embarassment much to meenu’s and sanchi’s amusement.

Ira, on the phone with sanchi, after hearing of this incident says that she’s happy that they are getting along now. Ira tells her that meenu tells her everything as to how anandi has taken care of everything in shiv’s life. Sanchi pretends to be surprised and tells ira that anandi dosnt even know about shiv’s wound on the leg as she is always preoccupied with tending to her exhusband’s and her old family’s problems. sanchi continues to bitch about everything that anandi has done recently, which she fells as ignoring shiv and his family. Ira is surprised to hear this, and sanchi tells her that she can verify for herself by asking meenu. Sanchi says that she would leave soon from this boring place and be with her also before she goes for the hostel. ira too has the same doubt about them consummating their marriage.

Ananadi talks to shiv’s photo saying that they didnt talk much in the morning, and now she’s missing him bad. She gets excited getting shiv’s call, and then clarifies everything and is relieved when she knows that shiv wasnt angry at her at all, and it just happened to be some pretty busy business. When shiv asks why she cancelled his calls, when he left for jaipur, she says that she wont talk about that on the phone and tell her in person. when anandi asks about her arrival, he, thinking about mahi’s advice, tells her that he would reach in the night only. Anandi agrees with a heavy heart, and cancels the phone.

She reprimands shiv again looking at the photo saying that earlier he wanted to listen to what she wanted, now she wants to talk about it and he’s not here. She pretends to be angry saying that now she too wont talk to him. But then smiles, saying that even thats impossible now.

Scene 3:
Location: Udaipur haveli
Ira discusses the matter with dadaji and alok. Whereas dadaji is very positive about anandi, ira says that what she is doing with shiv is also not right. Alok asks ira not to have a blind faith on sanchi, as she as it is doesnt like anandi. Dadji asks her to talk to meenu instead about this as she’s more mature. But ira says that sanchi wont be lying to them, and hence she cant calm down, and wants to go to jaitsar to find out whats actually happening and also wants to talk to anandi.

Scene 4:
Location: Jaitsar haveli
Dadisa asks ganga to come down as she has to go to school. Finding her nervous, dadisa tells ganga that people who start reading today always have happiness in her life, as the goddess saraswati is always happy with them, and avert all troubles on them. Jagiya too comforts a nervous ganga, that she wouldnt face any kind of trouble. Basant says that they should leave. Nandu gets ganga’s school bag, saying that he did today what she does for him everyday. jagiya gets lal singh’s phone and tells the family that he would have to go to the hospital for an emergency and apologizes to ganga for not being able to go with him, as he has his duty to take care of. Dadisa, comments after jagiya leaves, of his responsible and mature character now.

Scene 5:
Location: Shiv’s house in jaitsar
Anandi thinks that today being basant panchami, she fervently wished to spend it with shiv and wanted to be with him badly. Whil she’s thinking so, shiv approaches his house. hearing a knock on the door, anandi opens the door, and is suprised to see noone on the gate, but a bouquet on the floor. She finds the courier guy, and after signing off her receipt, she opens the note, in the flowers which say that its from shiv, who too wanted badly to be able to spend this festival with her. The screen freezes on anandi’s face.

Underlying message: Love doesnt need persuasion to grow or begin. It is like a plant, that in itself sprouts out from the deepest corners of a person’s heart.

Precap: Anandi is very happy to find shiv, at her school, helping kids write their first alphabet. She happily responds when shiv asks her as to how she liked his surprise. Anandi asks ganga to write whatever she feels. Ganga with a heavy heart, writes her son’s name, mannu on the board. The whole singh faamily is overwhelmed to see this.
