Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 31st December 2012 Written Update

Episode starts with Ram and Vikram in the car. Ram tells Vikram that though he stood by Vikram in the police station, he also feels that Vikram was being too harsh on Rahul. Vikram says that Rahul needs this punishment as he cannot take him for granted. He is a son of Shergills (SOS ) and his upbringing has been good enough for him to refrain from doing anything wrong and not take them for granted. He adds that though Neha was always a strict Mom for Rahul, he had been a friendly father. He gave him lot of freedom, but Rahul has crossed his line. Vikram adds that Rahul has to remember this night of punishment so that he never commits any other mistake again.

Scene shifts to Neha is sitting alone on a bench, sobbing…Rajat enters the scene and sits next to her (Hail Uwala – SOSW – Savior of Single women). Rajat says that guess everything is over. Neha starts crying and says yes it really seems as if everything is over for her as she doesn’t know where is Rehaan, Vikram is upset with her, Rahul doesn’t want to see her face and Ritzy and Sammy are upset with her too! So everything is over for her. Rajat tries to console her by saying that Rahul needs space and if she permits, he would like to speak to Rahul (Dear Uwala do I need to remind you that you have just written a love story, not a PHD thesis on resolving issues of others)

Scene shifts to Priya and Kady with Daijaan…DJ is very happy to see Priya after a long time. Priya says she accidentally met Kady, so thought of coming home and meeting her too. DJ hands over the gifts that Rahul had left for Kady with her…she also tells her that she likes Rahul’s cuteness . Kady removes the box and reads the small note on the box and starts sobbing. Priya tries to console Kady….

Scene shifts to Rahul roaming on the streets of Mumbai (first Tanhayee walk of the day ). He is walking and thinking…FBs of the day when Vik-Neha’s divorce was revealed in his b’day party, Rehaan calling himself part of the family, his fight with Rehaan at Paradise café…

In parallel…we see Rehaan…roaming in his house (wait..he is yet to hit the streets…its coming ..its coming… ) thinking about Vikram bailing him out, Vikram helping him to the doctor when he had fever..

Back to Rahul…he is sitting at the Powai lake and throwing stones in water (may be he was tired of walking… ). Rajat comes there..Rahul sees Rajat and gets up. He apologizes for not thanking him earlier and now Thanks him for bailing him out. Rajat says that he was happy as he has never had anyone give him such an ‘intense’ Thank you…(well whats that??) and that he was the first one.

He asks Rahul, what was going on with him. Rajat goes on to tell Rahul that he is a happy go lucky, jolly and overall a good boy…then why did he have to be an angry young man. Why does he react so much these days? Rahul tells him that he reacts whenever he sees Rehaan. Rajat tries to ask him what exactly happened today and Rahul tells him that he reacted when he saw Kady and Rehaan together. He says he feels insecure of Kady and Rehaan meeting and they cannot meet..its just not right..(do I see a psycho lover in the making here… ). Rajat offers to drop Rahul home, and he denies going home…so then Rajat offers to take him to a place which Rahul would like…(now where is that….they dint show…any guesses )

Scene shifts to Priya and Kady…Kady is still sobbing and Priya is trying to talk to her. Priya tells her that she shared everything with Kady in Dubai, so so why cant Kady share what is bothering her….Kady starts by saying that she was unable to understand Rahul…he gave her so many hints always…but she dint understand..and that she was stupid…Priya responds to her saying it happens…and its okay. Priya wants to know what exactly happened that landed Rahul and Rehaan in the police station. Kady tells her the story of how Rahul and she were meeting for a dinner and Rehaan called all of a sudden and she had to go meet him unplanned…and then Rahul reached there and they had an argument which ended into a fight..Kady goes on to blame herself..as she feels she was the reason for all what happened. Priya tries to pacify her by saying that it was probably meant to happen that way (Beats me… where is the Priya who believed in making in things happen and now only believes that things just happen )

Priya asks Kady, who did she want to meet and Kady says..Rahul! She goes on to tell Priya that Rahul is more than a friend and that she loves Rahul. Priya smiles and consoles Kady and asks her to sheer-up. She asks Kady to open the gift Rahul gave her as she is curious to know what it is.. (Hawww…bad manners to insist on seeing someone’s gift …)

Scene shifts to Rehaan on the streets (Second Tanhayee walk of the day )….Rehaan is walking on the streets…and finds a beggar begging for some money as he had probably had everything…but the beggar was hungry…Rehaan walks close to the beggar and sits next to him. Rehaan tells the beggar that his situation is no different than the beggar’s. The beggar spends his entire day sitting on the road waiting for someone to notice him and give some help….and Rehaan spends his days waiting for the people in his life to notice him and share some love and affection over him. The beggar says that Rehaan seems to be too lonely in his life and has lot of pain..so much that he chose to share it with someone like him. Rehaan tells him that he has been alonely all his life and has only wanted his mother to accept him in front of the world as her son.. He further goes on that today he separated a mother from his son and yet he wasn’t feeling happy. He goes on to say he also separated afather from his son, yet he was not happy…did he do something wrong….

Scene shifts to Ram thinking about how Priya and he had planned something else for Neha and Vikram, but the unexpected Rahul-Rehaan incident spoiled their plan. Priya is also thnking the same in the cab. Priya calls Ram and first apologizes for calling so late (I love it these days when Priya says sorry for any smallest thing ). She tells Ram that their plan flopped completely for bringing Neha and Vikram together. Ram tells her that he too was thinking the same and that they need to do something real quick. Priya says, they will have to plan something such that Vikram and Neha realize that their happiness lies in staying together and not away from each other. Ram agrees (when has my Golu denied to anything that Priya says) and says that he will think of something and that Priya should also think of some plan. Priya says she will and before closing the call she adds “You take care ok” ( So much love….am sure my Golu will not be able to sleep tonight ) …and asks him to give a hug to Pihu from here side. Screen splits into two…Priya and Ram both thinking…

Precap: Priya suggests Neha to tell Vikram about Rahul’s bail as he may get upset later. Vikram shown getting upset over Neha saying…”who is Rajat to bail out his son and he will take decisions for his kids. He also says that he came home because he had to take care of his two other children at home and he hasn’t run away from his responsibilities like Neha.
