Bade Acche Lagte Hain 28th August 2012 Written Update

Priya and Pihu are in school and walking in the corridor. Pihu asks Priya again how she knows so much about Golu uncle. Priya doesn’t know what to answer but is saved by Kady’s call. Priya shares the good news about Pihu’s victory with Kady who is very happy. Daija is also there, having tea and I’m sure dreaming of her Rajjo becoming a dulha! Rajat comes there when Kady asks Priya to pass the phone to Pihu. Before Kady can talk to Pihu, Rajat gestures to her to pass him the phone.

Kady (with a confused face ) hands over the phone to Rajat who congratulates Pihu. He says well-done and that Pihu deserves a treat. Pihu says that she wants to go to her favourite restaurant to eat her favourite food. Rajat says that Pihu will get that treat. Priya says no, no to Pihu. Pihu tells Rajat that she is coming and he has to ask mummy now. Priya takes the phone and Pihu says please, please to her mom. Rajat tells Priya not to refuse, Pihu has come first in school for the first time. Rajat says that he will pick them up in the evening and Priya has no choice but to agree. Pihu is excited to go to the restaurant.

Daija tells the servant not to make dinner as they were going out. Mamaji comes there and Daija tells him that they were going out and if he wants something special to eat, she would tell the servants…..they would prepare it. Mamaji asks if it was any special programme and Daija tells that Pooja who worked at the bookshop was coming and Rajat was taking them to dinner. Mamaji wonders……Pooja is Priya and what was Rajat doing inviting her for dinner. He tells Daija that Rajat was a man of few words, it was good to hear that he has friends. Mamaji asks if Pooja was Rajat’s special friend? Daija says yes Pooja was special, especially for Rajat. Daija want Rajat to marry a good girl, life couldn’t be lived alone…..Pooja was a nice girl. Daija says that everything was in God’s hand. Here, everything is in Ekta and Mitu’s hands!

Mamaji says that yes, everything will be fine, if God desires. Mamaji says he is hungry and will eat. Daija says she has an important call to make and goes from there. Mamaji thinks to himself that Priya is lucky, Ram in India and Rajat in Dubai…..he can leave to Mumbai without any tension. Yes, Anaconda’s sidekick out of Dubai and Priya/Pihu’s way!

Ram storms into Vikram’s office and shouts at Vikram that he knows everything. Vikram asks Ram to sit down, he will order coffee. Ram will not have anything of that and asks Vikram if he did not hear him……Ram says he knows everything, Vikram sends money to an orphanage every month. Ram says that he has checked Vikram’s bank statement. Vikram asks Ram….. You checked my bank account? Ram says what else could he do? Vikram tells Ram that he already told Ram to keep away from this matter.

Ram tells Vikram that he and Neha are his closest friends…..he can interfere in their matter. Vikram tells Ram that there is a limit to friendship. Ram looks hurt but he says that he will not stay out of it. He will do what he needs to do but will not let them go through with it (the divorce). Vikram shouts back that it was his and Neha’s matter and they would decide what to do. Vikram firmly tells a hurt Ram to stay out of it. Ram leaves and Vikram feels bad.

Rajat, Daija, Kady, Priya and Pihu having dinner at a restaurant. Priya is paying attention to Pihu. Rajat asks Pihu if she wants anything more and Pihu wants strawberry milkshake and french fries. Priya says no but Rajat and Daija say that its a special day for Pihu and to let her eat. Rajat tries to “impress” Pihu by putting french fries into his mouth like fangs. Rajat asks Pihu if she knew rhymes and Pihu says the Humty Dumty rhyme……Rajat trying to get to the mother through the child!

Rajat orders ice-cream inspite of Priya saying no…..Priya’s says that Pihu’s throat would spoil. But Rajat and Daija say that its Pihu’s special day. Rajat asks Priya what ice cream she wants and Priya says no to it. Rajat again brings the “special day” speech and Priya then says that if they could get kulfi in the restaurant, she would have it. Daija also wants kulfi. Rajat orders. Priya is seen paying attention to only Pihu. Everyone eats ice cream. Priya is about to eat the kulfi when she remembers eating kulfi with her parents and with Ram. She lets Pihu taste the kulfi. Priya and Pihu share a cute moment and our stalkers, Rajat and Daija (new name for this pair) look on with smiles.

Nutz comes back home and Karthik is reading something. Nutz complains about the Mumbai traffic and her workload. She asks Karthik what he was reading…..Karthik says a book which tells them about preparing for a baby. Karthik excitedly tells Nutz what all decoration they could do before the baby comes. He tells Nutz that he is excited that they would have a baby, their baby. Nutz watches Karthik talking, amazed at his happiness. Karthik asks Nutz if she wasn’t excited and she says yes…..but thinks that how would she tell him that she has lost this opportunity to experience this feeling because of her own doing.

Kady and Rahul skyping. Kady is removing her earrings when Rahul compliments her on her looks. Kady says sorry? Rahul says that she was late in coming to skype and now she is playing with her earrings. He tells her to leave everything, talk to him. Kady starts talking about Pihu, how cute she was, how she was eating a lot……Rahul and Kady talk, we don’t hear what they say (muted) but both look happy talking and listening.

Rajat tells Daija it was a nice evening and his sidekick, Daija says, of course. She says that both Pihu and Priya were happy. Rajat says that they should have more of these outings, he had no idea that Kady and Pihu were so close. How will you know, the last 5 years you were Mr Heartless and suddenly in the space of 2 weeks, you become Mr Haddi Daija says that both were talking the whole evening. Rajat says thats why they should meet more often, friendship, bonding and love will increase. Daija says that by meeting, love would increase….Pihu’s love, Kady’s love, Pooja’s love and if they meet more, even Rajat’s love will increase. Rajat says he’s going to sleep and Daija says sweet dreams. Meet Daija, the new Love Guru!

Neha is setting the table when Vikram comes in. He tells Neha about Ram coming to the office and Neha says that she also met Ram……but didn’t tell him anything. Vikram says that Ram was aksing again and again why they were divorcing and for the first time, he shouted at Ram. Neha asks why Vikram shouted at Ram. Vikram says that inspite of asking not to, Ram was interfering. Neha says that Ram was not interfering, it was his concern.

Of course Ram would react this way to the shocking news. Vikram says that he also did not like to shout at Ram but he had to get the message. Sometimes Ram behaved intelligently and sometimes like a kid, Vikram says that he doesn’t know how to handle Ram. Neha says but thats our Ram. He cannot handle such emotional situations alone…..his marriage was successful because he married a mature woman like Priya. Mmm…..a debatable statement!

Vikram says that Ram always misses Priya. The problem was that Ram becomes emotionally attached to relationships and if there is any problem, he becomes worried and cannot handle it. Neha says that they have to treat Ram kindly, not to shout at him. Vikram gets a call from the mysterious hooded guy. Neha walks away and Vikram is irritated. The hooded guy is shown angry that Vikram does not pick up the call.

Priya and Pihu are sleeping. Priya wakes up and tells Pihu to wake up. Pihu is not getting up and Priya touches Pihu. Priya thinks Pihu has fever. Pihu wakes up, feeling weak. Priya gets the thermometer and takes Pihu’s temperature. She explains to Pihu what a thermometer is…..if Pihu has fever, then they would go to the doctor and he would give tablets, Pihu would be fine then. Priya asks Pihu….she likes tablets, doesn’t she. Pihu weakly nods. She doesn’t want to eat anything. Priya sees that Pihu has 103 degrees temperature and is worried. She tells Pihu that she doesn’t have to go to school, they would go to the doctor……Priya also says she wouldn’t go to work and stay the whole day with Pihu.

The doctor is checking Pihu. Priya says that Pihu ate ice-cream and fried things the previous night, is it because of that…..The doctor says that Pihu has a throat infection and high fever. Just to rule everything out, they would do some more tests. The doctor gives some antibiotic prescription. The other doctor in the room tells Priya to come with Pihu for the blood test. Priya and Pihu go with her.

Ram is sitting in his house, he gets a call. He tells the person to cancel the meeting, he is not in the mood to come to the office…..to tell them that he isn’t feeling well. Then Ram tells the person not to cancel the meeting, to postpone it and he would call later and fix the timing. Bansi Kaka comes there Bansi is back! to tell Ram that breakfast is ready but Ram tells him that he’s not hungry. Ram takes Priya’s photo and talks to her photo…..Priya, I don’t know what is happening today……no mood to work, eat, nothing feels good. I feel a strange restlessness. I feel as if something wrong is going to happen.

Precap: Priya is at the hospital. Rajat says that he knows she is upset because of Pihu but his friend Ram, whom Pihu calls as Golu Uncle is also upset because of what has happened to Pihu. He hands over Ram’s phone to Priya, asking her to talk to Ram. Ram on the other end is tensed, waiting to talk to Pihu’s mom.
