Avni to take up Asha’s surname in Naamkarann

The little kid Avni (Arsheen Namdar) has been winning our hearts in Star Plus’ Naamkarann (Guroudev Bhalla Productions).

Now, the girl will take a bold step that will leave the all gaping in shock.

As viewers would know, Avni is being felicitated with a bravery award and the entire neighbourhood has got together to be part of the honourable moment.

Asha (Barkha Bisht) will be brimming with pride while Ashish (Viraf Patel) will stay in the background, cheering for his daughter. And as Avni will go up on the stage she will shock everyone.

Neela (Sayantani Ghosh) will welcome Avni on the dais and once there, she will ask her about her surname. Avni will then make a heart-warming announcement.

Shares a source, “Avni will tell the world that her father did not have the courage to accept her and her mother and thus she considers her mom to be the one who has sole right on her. Denouncing her father, Avni will say that she will now rechristen herself as Avni Ayesha (Asha’s real name).”

Her decision will be greeted with joy and Asha would be left in tears seeing her daughter fight for them. As for Ashish, he will be heartbroken and decide to move out from their lives.

What lies ahead in the track? How will Asha-Ashish-Neela love story move ahead?
