The episode starts with Shanti singing Piya Basanti Re Kahe Sataye Aaja song in a male voice while Shanti sings in a female voice. Next morning, Mishra gets ready in a politician style. Shanti says he is looking handsome. He says her voice is back to normal. Shanti gets happy and enacting Lataji says her voice is sounding like nightingale’s. He says soon nightingale will take tuitions from her. She scolds him not to joke on her. He thinks god made a weird creature and sent it for him. She asks if he said anything and angrily looks at him. He thinks its cheating, can’t he speak in his mind.
Shanti happily walks to Sakina and says her voice is back. Sakina gets tensed. Shanti says she will sing better than her. Sakina says she did rehearsal since a week, now even Chinu Malik will be amazed with her singing as per Pooja. Shanti says Pooja said same to her. They all pooja and question her. She says she considers them equal and doesn’t want them to fight, hence she said that. They say they didn’t fight since a week. She says they do every day. Brij says Pooja is right and asks them to both sing together and save haveli’s dignity. They both agree.
Bittu heads towards flag republic day celebration venue to hoist the flag asking Kanta to make sure his pics are clicked as if he is a minister. Kanta says he already informed BBC to click his pics in different angles. Bittu falls in a gutter and calls Kanta to get him out. Kanta seeks help. Shanti and Sakina pass by and ask Kanta what happened. Kanta says Bittu fell in a gutter. Mishra and Mirza join them. Drama starts. They pull out Bittu. Bittu says he thought he would die in gutter and feels sick. They decide to take him to hospital. He denies and says he wants to visit flag hoisting venue. They lift him and head towards venue.
At venue, everyone wait for Bittu. Mirza and Mishra bring Bittu. Everyone ask what happened to Bittu. Kanta says Bittu fell in a drainage. Bittu says gutter. Balkishan asks if he can hoist the flag. He says he can. Mishra and Mirza lift him and take him near flag pole. Sarfaroshi Ki Tamanna.. song plays in the background. Bittu feels guilty remembering Mishra and Mirza saving him even after he troubled them and denies to hoist flag revealing what he did. Brij says Bittu is a cheap trickster, but he had courage to accept truth. Noor gives moral gyaan next and says she found a pic a few days ago where she can see her FIL and Brij’s mother together participating in the war for independence and shows the pic to Balkishan. Mirza asks why didn’t she inform him before. She says what could she do when he doesn’t even know why they celebrate republic day. Mirza says they hoist national flag. Guddu their constitution was revealed on 26th January 1950. Inam says 26th January was chosen as on 26th January 1930 Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru announced swarajya/free nation, they even celebration independance day from 1930 to 1947 on 26th January till then.
