Ashita Dhawan chooses babies over stint in Comedy Nights with Kapil

With the arrival of her lovely twins, the beautiful and gracious Ashita Dhawan is enjoying her parenthood with her better half Shaillesh Gulabani.

Now, Ashita is anxiously waiting for her comeback on the small screen. But it seems that it is getting delayed.

How?

Recently, the actress expressed her feelings on a social networking site. “Kapil sharma one of the most talented performers our industry has…….superb show….comedy nights wit Kapil)) I feel aweful for not bein able to go for the look test for Kapils wifes role….(( aaggghhhhrrrrrrrrr……, (sic)” she wrote.
Wanting to get the details, we contacted her to know more. The actress then informed us, “Yes, I was called by the makers to come down for a look test, for the role of Kapil’s wife. But unfortunately, that day I was at my mother’s place with my babies and moreover it was raining very heavily.”

Talking to them of my difficulties, I did request them to give me an alternate day when I could be there. However, they were in hurry and wanted me to come on that particular day itself. Since I had my kids along, I couldn’t leave them alone. Thus I could not make it,” she sighed.

“After watching the show, I wish I could have been a part of it as I simply loved the show’s format. Kapil is a very talented man and his sense of humour is very spontaneous. But its okay, I am glad that I chose my babies over the show,” she added.

Currently, the role of Kapil’s wife is played by Sumona Chakravarti, who is well known as Natasha from Bade Achhe Lagte Hain.
