Ashiesh Roy in DJ’s A Creative Unit’s Hum Hain Na

The talented Ashiesh Roy will once again be seen playing a Bengali character, post SAB TV’s Jeannie Aur Juju, in DJ’s A Creative Unit’s Hum Hain Na, an upcoming show on Sony Entertainment Television.

This unique love tale set in Banaras stars Kanwar Dhillon and newbie Kashish Vora in lead roles.

Ashiesh will essay the character of a Sanskrit professor, who once upon a time used to teach at the Oxford University but is now back in India. His sole motive would be to get his daughter – being essayed by Kashish – closer to the Indian culture. He will also be seen as a single father who will love his daughter the most.

When contacted Ashiesh confirmed the same and said, “I’ve got back to daily soaps after a month’s break. I got to do all the things that I wanted to do for a long time like reading, watching cinema and photography during this break.”

He also went on to add, “My TV career began with DJ’s Banegi Apni Baat and I am getting back with them after 22 years. So, I am completely looking forward to this association.”

The actor has already begun shooting for the serial.
