Arjun 9th March 2013 Written Episode

Episode starts with passengers on a train, one in the bathroom checking his face then one girl talking as the guy walks by checking the girls and other passengers bags and things as another guy is passing out water.

Arjun is also on the train looking at travel magazine, he ignores the guy selling water. As the waiter goes around taking lunch orders one of the guy is having chest pain, the one talking finance is sleeping and the thief is still checking out passengers’ things.

Arjun comes to one of the train doors with his travel magazine. Train approaches a tunnel and everything is dark on the train. The guy with chest pain starts having heart attack, the lights go off as people try to help the guy with chest pain. Arjun tries to open a box but it was locked the TC says he does not have the key. While Arjun tries to open the cabinet a scream is heard, the guy who was talking finance is found murdered.

Arjun asks the TC to go on one side to make sure no one leaves the coach and tells him to call the police and doctors at the next station. He then asks the waiter to go on the other side to make sure no one leaves the coach.

Train comes to a stop at a station, doctor comes on board, and he checks the murdered guy then shakes his head at Arjun. Inspector meets Arjun on the platform and tells Arjun that it will be hard to stop the whole train, he tells the inspector there is no need to stop the whole train, just the one coach where the murder happened, he is sure the killer is in that coach since the last coach was closed off and he was trying to restore the electricity from the side that was open.

Arjun reasons that the killer could not have gone past him since there were lot of people there and the train was going at a fast speed through the tunnel so the killer could not have jumped from the train either.

Arjun comes on trains, shows his ID and introduces himself, then tells the passengers that they cannot leave the coach until their investigation is finished. One man complains regarding this and others follow. Arjun tells them that if they cooperate then investigation will get completed quickly.

The coach is separated from rest of the train, the inspector tell everyone to take their seat, the guy who was eyeing passengers stuff looks on nervously as the inspector walks towards him.

TC tells Arjun that the guy who was killed is Rahul Suri. Inspector stops in front of the would be thief and ask him his name. He says his name is Veeru. Inspector asks TC if there is anyone named Veeru on the passenger’s list, TC says there is no one named Veeru on the passenger’s list.
Inspector moves the bag off of Veeru’s chest that is clutching, they find blood spot on his shirt, and inspector tells Arjun we found the killer. Arjun comes over to look. They find stolen things in the backpack. The owner of the backpack says that it’s his bag and Veeru must have stole his bag when he was conversing on the phone. Inspector says Veeru took advantage of darkness to steal and when he approached Suri, he must have woke up so Veeru killed him.

Arjun says Veeru could not have killed Suri, and tells the inspector that this is planned murder. Arjun asks Veeru what happened and Veeru tells what happened while he was stealing the laptop bag. He says he did not kill Suri.

Arjun tries to enact how the murder could have happened as everyone looks on. Few of the men observing this are looking nervous. Arjun thinks the killer had a handkerchief wrapped around his hand and it could be on the train. As they look for the handkerchief few more people starts looking nervous. Inspector finds blood on a window and calls over Arjun.

Arjun gives more instruction to inspector, he receives a call from Shree, who tells him that Rathore is Delhi security conference and Liza will reach the station soon, while he, Chotu and Ayesha will help from the ETF headquarters.

Arjun gives murder details to Shree and Ayesha via videoconference. Shree finds out the real name of the guy who was murdered through facial recognition program and shares the guy’s details with Ayesha. The guy was a con artist. Rahul Suri is Guatam Grover.

Shree and Ayesha discuss Arjun and his ability to attract a case while going on a vacation. Ayesha wants to know why Arjun is traveling on a train; Shree says you ask him but Ayesha say I don’t have to ask I can get the info in minutes. Shree scoffs and Ayesha takes this as a challenge, they have a friendly bet over this.

Arjun drinking is cutting chai, he receives a video call from Ayesha; she gives Arjun the information they found on the victim. Ayesha tries to find out why and where Arjun was going but fails at her fist attempt while Shree tries to hide his amusement. Ayesha loses the bet and gives Shree 500 rupees.

Inspector brings over the passenger list with all their details to Arjun.

Arjun questions Ram, the waiter, who tells Arjun that Rahul had bought water from him and the bottles were all sealed. He tells Arjun that he was taking lunch orders and he had tried to wake Suri but could not wake him. Shree and Ayesha watch all this through the video call.

Arjun continues to question other passenger from the coach one being the guy who had a heart attack, his name is Praveen who tells him that the woman sitting next to him gave him the medicine from his bag, which helped him. He then gives Arjun his medical reports. The guy obviously wants to leave ASAP but Arjun tells him that they have a doctor at the platform now because of Praveen’s medical condition. Arjun asks why Praveen was going to Goa. Praveen tells him his reasons for traveling to Goa. Shree confirms the details.

Arjun suspects the chest pain and asks Shree to check all details on Praveen. Ayesha tells Shree she will go check out Praveen’s home.

Meanwhile Arjun questions other passengers. The guy sitting next to the victim is retired school teacher hi name is D. D. Sharma.

Ayesha questions Praveen’s father. She concludes that Praveen was only going to be gone for a day, she informs Arjun.

Arjun questions girl named Bitto who tells Arjun she was going to Goa to meet a guy she met on wedding web site. He then talks to Veeru again.

Shree also suspects Joshi, the guy who had a heart attack. Arjun then talks to Roy, the owner of the laptop bag.

Liza arrives at the platform; she tries to joke but fails completely when Arjun gives her the look. Arjun briefs her on the case and the suspects. Joshi and Roy top his list.

Arjun and Liza go on the coach to look for evidence. They question the waiter who says Suri only bought water from him. Arjun indicates to Liza to take the waiter out then he checks the water bottles, he asks Liza to check the water of one of the bottle. Liza checks as Arjun looks on. She finds anxiety medicine mixed in the water, which can have a sedative effect for two to three hours.

Arjun tells Liza to gather all the passengers on the coach. Everyone is looking on anxiously, Arjun asks Liza to give water to everyone since they are all so anxious, Sharma refuses to take water; Arjun questions him, Liza takes over when Sharma acts innocent.

Sharma tries to run but Chotu arrives just in times.

Liza tells Arjun the fingerprints found on the electric board belonged to Roy. Arjun starts connecting the dots and role of each of the suspected person in Suri’s murder.

Joshi, Roy and Sharma are the main suspects.

Joshi admits to faking the heart attack and tells Arjun he had invested in Grovers scheme and because of Grover/Suri he lost everything, his daughter’s marriage broke and she committed suicide.
Sharma tells his fathers savings was gone and his father suffered a stroke. Sharma says he was one of the person who made a FIR against Grover.

Roy said he also followed the case and after a year they realized that nothing is going to happen, then he received a letters from someone.

Roy, Sharma and Joshi tell Arjun about the letter and what happened after that. We see flash back of each scene.

Chotu tells Arjun the letters were posted from the same pin code area as the three suspects. Sharma, Joshi and Roy deny knowing each other before this; all three said that they were told that Rahul Suri will be kidnapped and they could get their money. They denied knowing anything about the murder.

Killer is yet not identified but they are sure that one of the passengers is the killer.

Shree tells Arjun what he has found from Suri’s victim’s list. Shree Scoffs at Liza agreement with Arjun’s theory about the doctor being a killer but Arjun says to check if any one is studying to be a doctor.

Inspector comes and gives Arjun a bag with a cloth found on the tracks by the tunnel. He hands it to Liza to check.

Meanwhile Shree shares the information he found on three of the passengers who are students.

Liza finds something on the scarf and comes over to shows it to Arjun.

Chotu comes and tells the passengers to sit on the coach that three suspects have been identified. All the passengers move towards the coach. Arjun and Liza come to Bitto and apologize to her to delay her meeting with her prospective groom.

Liza plays Bitto smartly using generic names of beauty brand. Arjun also joins in and catches her midway.

It is revealed that Bitoo was a medical student for five years and her real name is Manisha Khurana.

Arjun tells how and why Manisha/Bitto killed Suri/Grover.

Arjun and Liza reasons with Bitto why all these things happened and tells her why what she did was wrong.

Liza tells Bitto that her greediness is what has landed her in this situation and she is responsible for what is happening to her today.

Arjun tells Bitto that greediness shows short cut but in life there are no short cuts.

Bitto is arrested

Liza asks Arjun if he is going back to Mumbai with them but Arjun says no and walks away. On the other side Ayesha hold out her hand to Shree for the 500 rupees.

Last scene is of Arjun getting on the train.

Precap: A girl in a bridal dress in a balcony watching her groom and baratis arriving at her doorstep. Several gunshots are fined in the air by the groom’s side as a ritual; the girl falls from the balcony. The girl was shot and her parents think it was part of the wedding ritual of shooting in the air that killed their daughter but Arjun reveals that the girl was killed on purpose not accidentally.
