Arjun 6th April 2013 Written Episode

Show start with man on the road trying to hail a taxi. One taxi finally stops and he tells the driver he needs to go to the domestic airport. The man gets in the car and talks to someone on the phone about getting the 25 lakhs. Driver is alerted and takes a man on different route. He then says something is wrong with the car and driver pretends to fix the car and ask the man to push the taxi, when the man gets out the taxi driver takes off leaving the man screaming for his suitcase.

Taxi driver comes home and tells his wife that there is 25 lakhs in the suitcase and tell his wife how he duped the customer. They open the suitcase and they find a body of a young girl instead of the money in the suitcase.

ETF office

Shree and Chotu watching a scary movie, Ayesha comes from behind them and touch their shoulders, they both scream out.

Ayesha turns on the news where the reporter is criticizing the police again. Shree turns off the news in irritation. Then lights go off, Ayesha then tells them that there is crime journalist coming to cover ETF.

Chotu jokes about the appearance about the so called reporter on one side while on the other side a girl is shown entering the ETF office, totally opposite of what Chotu thinks what the reporter will look like.

Lights comeback on Chotu stares at the girl with an open mouth in shock. Shree, Chotu and Ayesha keep starring at the girl as she walks towards them. Girl introduces herself as Shakshi Anand.

Shree keeps staring at her, totally lost in her beauty and then when Ayesha calls out his name he comes out of his trance and stammers out his and Chotu’s introduction. Liza enters the room just as Shakshi asks what Shree does and taunts Shree’s computer skills. She does compliment Shree at the end though.

Liza introduces herself to Shakshi.

Shakshi tells she is happy to meet them all and can’t wait to meet rest of the team. Aisha tells that the other members are Rathore and Arjun. Shakshi gets excited and says I have heard so much about Arjun Rawte and ask where his cabin is located.

Next scene Arjun is his office in deep thought twirling his pen around his fingers. Shakshi extends her hand and says hi, Arjun checks her by running his eyes up and down, Shakshi introduces herself and says hi again, Arjun finally shakes her hand and Shakshi tries hold his hand longer than necessary.
Arjun ask what she wants, Shakshi says I don’t want anything but the home minister wants me to shadow you so that I can show the public what ETF does. Arjun says so she is a publicists, Shakshi say not exactly but if you do something wrong then you can read about it in the paper the next day. Arjun then says we are not film stars we don’t need media coverage, you are in a wrong place.

Shakshi nods her head then pulls out her phone and extends it to him and tells him to call the home minister and tell him this. Just then Rathore enters Arjun’s cabin and says there is no need, DIG had called to tell him she was coming. This irritates Arjun. (Must watch scene)

Rathore introduces himself to Shakshi and mentions that she is a famous crime reported. (Note: Shakshi is on first name bases with Rathore, she called him Sameer so it means no ranking problems here.) Shakshi says it will be fun to work with you, Arjun immediately says who. Shakshi takes it as a joke and says she will take their leave now. She says bye but Arjun does not respond, she makes a face and turns to say bye but Arjun again ignores her, she just shrugs and leaves after saying bye to Rathore. Rathore turns and looks at thoughtful Arjun.

Next scene

Taxi driver at a dump place where he is trying to get the suitcase with the bag out of his taxi and gets noticed by a man. Taxi driver leaves after dumping the body.

Next scene ETF at the dumpsite, investigating.

Team questions the man who had witnessed the Taxi driver dumping the body. Rathore puts Chotu on task of finding the taxi driver.

Meanwhile Arjun takes a closer look at the suitcase. Shakshi joins him. Arjun absently voices the bags worth and Shakshi says yes it is very expensive. In the next scene they have a small eye lock. (The girl baffles poor Arjun ji but she does have a pretty smile.)

In the next scene Chotu and Ayesha arrives at the taxi driver’s place where he and his wife are trying to leave. Taxi driver’s name is Amol Mhatr. At the ETF office husband and wife is talking Rathore and Arjun. Taxi driver and his wife. Driver explains how he got the suitcase.

Rathore signal Ayesha to take the taxi driver’s wife away who is crying loudly. Ayesha takes her away.

Outside the interrogation room, Shakshi asks Ayesha if there is been a missing persons report on a girl, Ayesha says no, Shakshi concludes that the girls parents must not be local. Ayesha is impressed by Shakshi skills.

Rathore tells Ayesha to check Amol’s story and get a sketch artist to make a sketch of the customer who was in Amol’s taxi.

In the forensic lab, Liza tells them about what she found on the body and in the suitcase. Shakshi thinks it’s a love bite, which brings smile to everyone’s face except for the two ACPs. Liza further tells them about horsehair found on the body and says the girl was a violin player.

Rathore puts Shree on the task of finding everything about the murdered girl.

Next morning

Some Sangeet Hall, a girl is playing a violin when she is finished she is praised by applause. ETF arrives on the scene.

Varun Kumar is the teacher at the music academy, they ask about Reema Mehta the murdered girl. They show him the sketch the man from the taxi but the teacher does not recognize him.

Guy name Amit Agrawal comes with a bill for an annual function. Rathore asks Arjun to question Reema’s friend while they question Amit.

Arjun, Shree and Shakshi with Lubna, Reema’s friend. Arjun gets irritated when Shakshi compliment Lubna.

Lubna tells them that she came in second, while Amit tells Rathore that he had seen Reema and Lubna argue.

Arjun questions about the bow on her violin She tell that her other bow broke the day before so she had to buy a new one. Shree then asks Lubna if Reema was unable to perform in the concert then who takes her place in the annual function. Lubna says she would take Reema’s place.

ETF Office

Recap of the case by Rathore.

Shakshi tries to lighten the mood by telling one of her past story and she irritates Arjun and they continue to discuss the case.

Next scene Lubna and Amit are brought to ETF office for further questioning.

Rathore questions Lubna about the argument between Lubna and Reema. Flash back of Lubna observing Teacher and Reema hugging. Amit defends Reema.

Back in conference room the ream again discusses the latest development. Shakshi again mentions the expensive brand of the suitcase, which alerts Arjun. He question how many stores would carry this brand, Shakshi tell him two stores and the location of the store also.

They decide to find out who had bought the suitcase in the past five months after Arjun mentions that the expiration date on the gel pack found in the suitcase was for Nov 2012.

Next scene Ayesha and Chotu come to Arjun to show him their findings. One name that stood out was Arti Kumar. Someone name Prakash Palkar had bought the suitcase; he is the same man from that was the taxi driver.

In the ETF car, Arjun, Rathore and Shakshi are together. Shakshi keeps looking at Arjun through the rearview mirror. Arjun notices and says what?

Shakshi says she was thinking about the case, she then moves forward and recaps the case, and concludes that teacher’s father in law must have committed the murder she then taps Arjun on the shoulder, which earns her a glare from Arjun and it amuses Rathore.

Arjun then says anything else, Shakshi says, don’t you ever smile, ever since I met you, you are wearing a serious expression. Rathore has a hard time hiding his smile.
Shakshi then says at first you seemed khadoos to me but I see something else behind your serious face. Arjun looks at Shakshi in the rearview mirror with a surprised expression. They stare at each other for a moment and Arjun again says what? Shakshi says pain, leaving Arjun stunned and Rathore looking out the window.

They arrive at Prakash Palkar’s home and ring the bell. The door is slightly open both Rathore and Arjun pull out their guns, which startle Shakshi, Arjun gives her a look.

They go in the house and find Prakash Palkar dead. Rathore calls Shree to bring local police to Prkash’s house. Arjun notices a suicide note.

Chotu, Shree and Ayesha are questioning Varun Kumar who tells them that his dream of music institute was fulfilled due to his father in law’s money. He gives a reason to lie to them about not recognizing them. Varun’s wife yells at him and tells the ETF team that she knew about Varun and Reema’s affair.

Back at Prakash’s house Arjun reads the suicide note and FB of Varun, his wife, and Father in law’s conversation is shown. Varun had denied having an affair with Reema. Another FB of Prakash talking to Reema is shown and how he had killed Reema is shown.

Rathore and Arjun conclude that Prakash could not have committed suicide. Arjun finds some bills on the table. They suspect Amit, Reema’s friend.

ETF arrives at the music institute where Amit is sitting quietly. He admits to killing Prakash Palkar. He had loved Reema, and when he heard about Reema’s death he had suspected Prakash. He killed Prakash because Prakash had killed Reema.

FB of how Amit had killed Prakash is shown. Rathore tells him what happened to Reema was bad but revenge cannot be justified. Killing someone can never be justified, no matter what the reason. Amit is arrested.

Everyone leaves, except for Shakshi and Arjun. Shakshi says Amit looked so calm it didn’t even seem as though he took a life. Arjun says the need for revenge is bigger than temper and pain and that can make person do anything. The need for revenge increases as the pain of loss increases. He surprises Shakshi. Arjun further says that until and unless the revenge is complete there is no peace.

Shakshi say, who know this better than you Arjun. Arjun walks away as Shakshi looks on.

Precap: ETF on the scene of hit and run accident. Arjun concludes it’s not a hit and run case. They find out that someone had taken out a 50-lakh insurance policy on the victim.
