Arjun 21st July 2013 Written Episode

A man is seen washing his car and wasting lots of water. Suddenly his wife comes to inform him that she’s going to the temple, and asked him to have his breakfast. The husband replies that only after washing his car, he’ll have his breakfast, and the wife goes away. The man continues to wash his car, when suddenly we see a man on a bicycle driving by, and stopping when he sees wastage of loads of water flowing by till the road. The cyclist approaches the man from behind, and then grasping the man by his neck and puts his head in the bucket full of soap and water, and continues to do this till finally the man dies.

At the ETF
Arjun is sitting in his office, when he receives a call.

At the crime scene
They all reaches there, where Shree gives Arjun details about the crime, and tells about the fingerprints on the neck of the dead man, Vimal, but due to the water, the fingerprints aren’t usable. Aisha goes to comfort the wife of the dead man. While Arjun investigates the crime scenes and looks for clue, he sees that the tap was in closed position, and also see the bicycle tracks. Arjun goes to question the wife about these bicycle tracks. The wife answers that normally it’s the milkman who uses the bicycle, but the milkman came on foot today. The wife also says that nothing has been stolen either in the house. Arjun queries where her husband worked. The wife says her husband was a retired doctor, and that he didnt have any enemies.
Arjun asks Shree to enquire about the doctor’s enemies from the hospital.

At the ETF office
Shree comes with the post-mortem results, and Shree tells Arjun about the fingers span on the victim’s neck. Arjun says that this can be used to determine the height of a criminal, and asks Shree if there were any matches with known criminals. But Shree says no. Arjun further interrogates some colleagues of the doctor, but they only praise the doctor stating he couldn’t have any enemy.
Shree says that the last person to have called the doctor was a Suresh, who works as a security guard for a work. But when Shree tries to call Suresh, he didnt get him.

The next day
A man, Suresh, is watering and washing the slabs and stairs in a park, and in the end he’s washing himself with that hose itself, meanwhile we see a bicyle coming and coming. The man is bathing himself when his phone starts to ring. Without even closing the tap, the man leaves with the running water hose and went to pick up the call. He’s talking with his mum, when the bicycle comes behind him. The killer takes the running hose and slowly goes towards the victim. The victim turns just in time and say “tum phir se agaye!” The killer directs the hose towards the victim, and due to the pressure of water on his face, the victims falls down, and the killer puts the hose in the victim’s mouth till the victim dies. The ETF reaches there after some time, and all starts to find clues. Arjun again sees the bicycle tracks, and goes to see it. While Shree tells them about the crime, and the neck marks. Arjun again notices that the water valve was closed. Arjun asks a few questions about Suresh but doesn’t get anything.

At the ETF office
Arjun and Aisha are interrogating Suresh’s mother. The mother tells about the phone call, about the bicycle horn, and about Suresh last words. She says that Suresh knew the doctor, and that Suresh was a very good boy and didnt have enemies.
Sakshi is trying to tell the others something about her lie, when suddenly Arjun comes in and glares at everyone. Arjun goes to take stand at his usual place, and starts to brief everyone about the two crimes. The only connection was the last phone call. Each tries to look for a valid clue and reason, while Arjun says that the other common thing is the killing weapon, that is water. Sakshi then interrupts to say something, but Arjun turns away ignoring her, till Aisha asks her to continue.
Sakshi tells them the rate of people being killed due to water is very common in the city, and many happen out of accidents. She doesn’t agree with Arjun on his theory. Arjun blasts at her, and says that water is the only thing which is common, and asks Shree to investigate about all people who died recently due to water, and then ironically asks Sakshi if her false wound wasn’t on her head instead of her foot.

Everyone is looking at a map, when Sakshi starts to brief everyone about the people who died due to water and points to each locations as per the articles she read ad worked on. But Arjun soon finds the something common, all murders were done along a main road, Malwani till Madh.
And all points to water killing, Ayesha says maybe it’s a psycho killer. Till now the killer has killed 7 people, Ayesha says that the killer is very intelligent because they dont have any clues. Arjun says we dont have something in common, the bicycle tracks found at each place. Ayesha points out that all murders have been donw between 6 o’clock and 9 o’clock, and these times it’s the milkman and newspapers senders which work. Arjun asks Shree to find about all people who worked for all these places. Shree goes to look for someone known as Mangal, who delivers newspapers, and asks the owner to call back Mangal. Mangal replies that he’d be back after completing his work.

Somewhere else
Someone is washing his motorcycle, when suddenly we see the bicycle and the killer again, and soon the killer kills that man also. The ETF reaches to investigate. Arjun agains sees that water valve was close, and again find the bicycle tracks with some decorations on the muddy ground. Ayesha picks one decorations, and Arjun yes people used it for decorate the bicycle. Arjun also finds a footprint and asks Shree to measure it. Shree estimates the person to be around 80-82 kgs from the footprints in the mud.
Ayesha asks who bring the newspaper, and the garage owner says it’s someone known as Mangal. And Arjun asks Shree to find out about Mangal.

Elsewhere in a colony
People are queuing up to take buckets of water. Someone named Omkar is controlling and giving water to everyone. We see Mangal coming there on his bicycle and asks Omkar to keep some water for him also.
Shree goes to Omkar and asks about Mangal’s house. The whole ETF went towards Mangal’s house, when Mangal is coming out with his empty bucket. Arjun asks him why he didnt return when his owner called him. Arjun says whether he had any work, or he was killing people. Ayesha said he has been killing people lately, and Chotu takes him away.
Arjun makes Mangal do some tests, he makes him stand on some liquefied clay to get his footprints and also makes him hold a dummy’s neck from behind to get the finger marks. From the results of all these tests, they have to accept that Mangal didnt kill anyone, as per his fingerprints.

ButAyesha says that it’s not enough to incriminate him, and that why would he kill people, they dont have any valid reason. That’s when Arjun points out that for each crime, the killer has closed the water tap, so as to prevent wastage of water. He also points out for all the recent crimes, all were wasting water, and maybe the killer couldn’t bear it.
Ayesha says that people wont kill for some drops of water. That’s when Arjun says that only those who have passed through a drought will know the importance of each drops of water.
Sakshi then says that the place most affected by drought was “Vidarth”, the whole village was dying for one drop of water. So Arjun says that maybe the killer is from there, and since the person most knowledgeable about water is the water authority. Arjun asks Shree to get the water bills, and also to find out who goes to deliver the water bills.
Shree goes to the water department, but the man is just talking and talking and ignoring Shree, till Shree gets very angry and snatches the phone and puts it down. Shree then asks the man about the person who deliver the water bills, and also the respective bills of each, among which a person named Omkar.

Shree returns to the office with all his information, and tells Arjun all the names of the delivery boy, when Sakshi remembers something when she hears the name Omkar. Sakshi tells everyone that as per an article, Omkar was from that village most affected by the drought, and that this man lost his whole family, became mad and was admitted to a mental hospital. Arjun asks Shree to find out if this Omkar is same as per Omkar delivering the bills.

Shree later comes and clarifies that both Omkars are one and only person. Arjun asks Shree to call for Omkar, but Omkar is no longer at office. Arjun investigates the water bills, and from it guesses who might be the next victim, someone named Natasha. They all go to save her.

Somewhere in a house
A girl is swimming in her personal pool. Thats when Omkar comes and reprimands her for wasting water. He jumps in the pool and tries to kill her, when Arjun comes and saves Natasha.
Arjun asks Omkar why he has been killing people, when Omkar tells Arjun about how his whole family died because there wasn’t any water, and here people are wasting water on and on.
Arjun says that you may be a good person with good intentions, but the way you chose to pass your message was very wrong.
