Arjun 21st April 2013 Written Episode

Episode begins with a shot of huge, beautiful, glass house.Its nightime & someone silently is entering the house with a key.The house belongs to one Kailash Satija who is a High Court Public Prosecutor.The man has covered his head & is seen walking up the stairs to one of the rooms.He opens the safe in the room takes the bundles of currency notes and a court case file of a rape case from which he removes a chip.He then takes the gun box that is also kept in the safe.As he walks down the stairs he knocks down a glass vase which wakes up the lawyer & his wife.They come running out & are faced with the intruder. A gun shot is heard.The lawyer has been shot & the wife is scuffling with the man.Another gunshot & the man too is dead.The husband is bleeding & begs his wife to save him.

The wife drives her husband to a hospital & runs to get a doctor.Another man watches her.He is Mohit Behl, magistrate.As she returns with the doctor Arjun, Aish & Chotu reach the spot.The wife,Urmilla says she is the one who called them.The magistrate is seen getting out of the car of the injured man & the dead man’s house.

The whole of ETF is there looking for clues & questioning everyone. Urmilla tells them all that happened. Arjun wants to know just how she carried her husband to the car.She answers that her husband was injured but alert & could walk to the car with help. They look at the stuff the man was trying to steal. Urmilla identifies the dead man as Ranjeet an accused in an ongoing Rape trial which her husband was prosecuting.She tells them he had tried to bribe her husband. The microchip is recovered.

At the ETF office the entire ETF watches the contents of the chip.It is a recording of the heinous rape committed by Ranjeet on his staff Suman Pandit.Everybody is enraged & disgusted .Arun points out that this is a crucial evidence to nail Ranjeet then how come it never came to trial even though the case is in hearing for three months.Shree says the magistrate who is hearing the case is none other than Mohit Behl.Arjun is shocked at the coincidence.He orders him to call Mohit.The servant informs them that Mohit is at their farm house in Madh Island.It is also revealed that his wife is patient at the hospital where Kailash had died.

Aisha informs that Kailash was a bad reputation man as a prosecutor.He would take money to lose his own cases & was assaulted by his own clients.

ETF reaches the farmhouse & find Mohit lying dead in the swimming pool.Lots of beer bottles are found around & Rathore thinks he must have been drunk & drowned.Arjun then finds evidence that a woman might have been with him. The murders of three people related to the same rape trial sets Arjun thinking that Suman Pandit the rape victim must be the key to everything.

Arjun along with Aisha & Sakshi visit Suman & her family.Arjun accuses her brother Ramesh of the murders.The brother expresses happiness at the death of Ranjeet & Mohit.He says he would have killed them himself if he didnt carry the responsibility of his mom & sis.Arjun asks him he understands the anger at Ranjeet but why is he angry at Mohit, the magistrate? Aisha asks him to come clean. Ramesh’s mother intervenes at this point. There is emotional outburst from her about her daughter’s sorry state.Ramesh says they had given the video recording of the rape which he had stolen from Ranjeet to Kailash long back but he was not presenting it to the court.So they went to Mohit’s farmhouse to request him to change the prosecutor.The mother continues that the guardian of law, the magistrate asked to spend a night with her daughter in exchange for change of lawyers.Arjun is enraged & Aisha is numb with anger.The mother expresses deep anguish & sorrow.Arjun asks for their alibi & they say they all were at home.

Saks does a pooja at the ETF office & distributes sweets.Everyone takes it but Arjun refuses.He says he has nothing to do with God.

Arjun decides that they should now go to Ranjeet’s house to look for more evidence.There they find a photo of Urmilla.A laptop is nearby.Everything is carried to the ETF office for deeper scrutiny.

They watch a video on the laptop in which someone has recorded the same steps taken by Ranjeet on that night he had broken into Kailsah’s house.The video ends at the safe which is open & the money & file ETF had found on Ranjeet is shown.Suddenly Arjun asks the video to be frozen at a certain point.He has noticed a reflection of Kailash in one of the photo frames.Arjun declares that it was Kailash who has recorded everything. He is confused as to why Urmilla’s photo & this recording was found in Ranjeet’s house.

Liz announces that Kailash has injury marks on his heels.Arjun & Rathore go to check.Everything clicks into place in Arjun’s mind.He says he has identified the mastermind of the triple murders.

Its nightime at Kailash’s house & a man in a hoodie walks into the house & goes up the stairs. He then comes back down & kicks the vase stand.Urmila runs out & throws a vase at him.She then runs to switch on the lights.The man in the hoodie is none other than Arjun Rawte…

He accuses Urmilla of all the murders as the way she had acted that night was not natural.He asks her to demonstrate how she carried her husband out to the car. Shree is asked to play the injured husband,Urmilla helps him towards the door. Arjun says thats not what happened.He then asks Shree to lie down again & Aisha drags him & his feet are scraped at the heels. Thats how Kailas got those injuries, he was already dead says Arjun. Rathore says how come she took him to a hospital 40 mins away when there was one just ten mins away.She wanted to meet Mohit. Aisha says if her hubby were injured she would have made him sit up in front but he was found prone on the backseat.All this shows that Urmilla had planned everything.

Arjun accuses her of selling crucial evidence to make money.How could she do that to her honest husband? At this Urmila breaks down & owns up everything.She says her husband was a dishonest prosecutor who would sell evidence to the defense foe money.She kept silent about it but when he tried to do the same in Suman’s case she couldn’t take it any longer.She threatened to send him to jail. Frightened by this Kailash asks Ranjeet to kill his wife.He provides a video of his house so that he knows the layout & her photo & plans the break in drama. Urmilla who has followed him sees everything.She removes the gun from the box in the safe.At night during the confrontation Kailash screams at Ranjeet to shoot his wife but the gun box is empty. Urmilla has the gun & she shoots first Kailash & then Ranjeet. She calls Mohit & asks her to meet her at the hospital.There he does the fake dying declaration drama.

Much later into the night Mohit is with Urmilla at his farm house & is asking her spend the night with him.Enraged she pushes him into the water & he drowns.

Rathore says taking law into one own’s hands hasnt served anybody.Arjun says for the system to work they need cooperation from the common people also.

Suman & her mother come to thank ETF.Rathore brushes away their gratitude with a smile.Arjun too joins them & apologises saying the law will always be a wrong doer in Suman’s case.

Sakshi gives a bit of pep talk saying,”Sabko sab kuch nahin milta, lekin kuch na kuch toh sabko milta hai”.She asks the girl to keep smiling.Episode ends!
