Archana Karmarkar to feature in Colors’ Shaitaan

Colors’ Shaitaan – A Criminal Mind showcases how a criminal’s mind works when he or she commits a particular crime.

Archana Karmarkar who was earlier seen in episodics of Crime Patrol, Hum Ne Li Hai.. Shapath and also in the daily fiction show Sapno Se Bhare Naina will play an interesting role in the upcoming episode of Shaitaan.

The story is about a hard working Bengali girl Rohini Sen who shares an emotional bond with her father. However, her dream of wanting to live a posh and luxurious lifestyle gives the character quite a lot of grey shades. In pursuit of a better existence, the girl leaves her father and the city of Kolkata and shifts to Bangalore. She also has a fight with the man who loves her dearly. Eventually, her boyfriend is startled when he gets to know a major truth of his girlfriend and he goes to the extent of stabbing her to death.

What is the girl’s real face? The gripping climax will stun many.

When contacted, Archana Karmarkar told us, “I basically prefer to do episodics as they have centralized characters. In Shaitaan, I have got the opportunity to portray quite a lot of shades, starting from emotion, romance, to a side of hers which will be a shocking revelation.”
