Anwar Khan to enter Durga

The clash of good and evil will continue all over again in Colors’ Durga (Sagar Arts).

Yes, yet another asur (demon) will be seen creating chaos in the peaceful world.

And to do justice to the role of asur, the makers have roped in actor Anwar
Khan. Anwar was last seen in 4 Lions Films’ Arjun on Star Plus.

In Durga, the actor will be seen as demon Durgam, who will manage to acquire all the precious Vedas from God Brahma. However, he will resort to misuse of power. This is when choti Durga (Ashnoor Kaur) will make a failed attempt to kill him.

“Later, elder Maa Durga (Piyali Munshi) comes on earth to fight Durgam,” said a source.

Anwar’s entry will be aired by Friday (15 February 2013) or Monday (18 February 2013).

When contacted Anwar confirmed the same and said, “It’s a very interesting role.”
