Anuj Sharma to ‘rob a bank’ in Sony TV’s Crime Patrol
Sony Entertainment Television’s Crime Patrol (Optimystix Productions) will feature one of its major stories this weekend, based on a real incident that happened in the city of Haryana wherein a tunnel was dug deep into the ground to loot lockers inside a bank.
And to play the central character of the robber in this episodic tale, has been roped in actor Anuj Sharma.
For Anuj, life is a God’s blessing wherein he had aspired to be an artist who would entertain and educate masses. Anuj feels he has so far left an impact on the people’s hearts, with the characters he has played on-screen.
And now, Anuj will steal people’s hearts as he gears up to steal bank lockers in this tale in Crime Patrol.
Anuj will be playing the role of Girish Talwaar who with his gang of eight people will set himself on a mission to enter a house on rent, near a bank. After digging a tunnel inside the bank, he will loot the bank on the day of Diwali.
Says Anuj, “This is a very shocking and sharp incident that makes me think about the deep planning the robbers would have done to loot a bank in this fashion. It is rightly said that a criminal is born in the mind and not in the womb. So I feel India should come up with some very strong policies which will create an environment where every individual can lead a happy, healthy, positive and prosperous life, erasing criminal intentions by spreading love and joy.”
This particular episode will be aired this Saturday (29 March), and will air as a dual episode story.
