Ankush Arora and Yaushika Verma to feature in Yeh Hai Aashiqui
Life is all about getting ‘second chances’, and this will be the plot in Bindass’ Yeh Hai Aashiqui this weekend. The episode to be aired on 31 August, produced by BBC Worldwide Productions will have new face Ankush Arora and ‘Yeh Hai Bakrapur’ fame Yaushika Verma playing central roles.
The story will revolve around the tragedy-stricken Sandy, essayed by Ankush who would have lost all aspirations in life after losing his girl friend in a bike accident. Even after two years, the guy would still feel guilty of driving the bike when it met with the fatal accident. At this juncture, there will enter a girl into his life who will provide a fresh breath of energy in him. The girl who would be a complete contrast to him, will be full-of-life with a progressive attitude. Contrary to the boy’s state of mind, she will love to ride bikes and would enjoy playing drums. On interacting with him, the girl will fall in love with him, and will be upfront about her feelings for the man.
Yaushika Verma who plays the central role in this episodic happens to be the daughter of famous National award winning stunt director Pappu Verma. Having trained under her father, Yaushika is very skilled when it comes to stunts, and knows very well to ride bikes. The girl has earlier starred in Bollywood movies Yeh Hai Bakrapur and Darr @ The Mall. And she had an easy outing when she had to shoot for her bike sequences in the episodic.
Talking about her experience, Yaushika told us, “Yes, it was a thrilling experience shooting for Yeh Hai Aashiqui. I had fun riding bikes and playing on drums. Since I have been well-trained in stunts by my father, I found it rather easy. I know horse riding, skate driving, riding on all kinds of bikes, bullets etc. I am mostly focussing on movies, but keep doing episodics regularly. Shooting with BBC was indeed great as they shot the entire story like a film. And I have to thank the director (Nisaar Parvez) for making things easy for me. He was a great guiding force all through the shoot.”
Palki Malhotra, Creative Producer, BBC Worldwide Productions also complimented the efforts put in by Director Nissar to groom two relatively new faces to play such complex roles. “Nissar according to me, is the best in the industry and only he could have pulled it off. We experienced a lot of difficulties while shooting this story, as the story was demanding. We had to shoot with the bikes, and with fresh faces around, things looked tough. But hats off to Nissar for training the youngsters and getting the best out of them. As for Yaushika, she has fantastic energy and we were lucky to have her.”
This particular episodic will air on 31 August.
