Ankita Lokhande plans a vacation with Sushant; stops shooting for Pavitra Rishta

Ankita Lokhande is a house-hold name today, courtesy her character of Archana in the long-running Zee TV show, Pavitra Rishta produced by Balaji Telefilms. Media has been writing constantly about Ankita Lokhande having put down her papers, and for the fact that 15 February (2013) will be her last day of shoot on the sets of the show.

However, a certain section of the media had very recently written about the possibility of Ankita Lokhande staying back after getting into a consensus with the channel and production house over a huge hike in her pay structure.

But now, we have received confirmed information from our reliable source that Ankita has clearly mentioned “that yesterday (10 February 2013) was her last day of shoot for Pavitra Rishta and that she will not be shooting for the show from today”.

Apparently, the lead actress has even gone ahead and planned a vacation for herself. There is also a consensus that Ankita wants to be with boyfriend Sushant Singh Rajput and enjoy all the limelight, as his maiden movie Kai Po Che is all set to release on 22 February 2013.

We contacted Ankita Lokhande to get a confirmation from her, and she said, “I cannot comment on anything right now. If the media has written about 15 February being my last date for Pavitra Rishta, then you people will get your answer on 15 February. As for now, I can only say that I am going on a holiday with Sushant.”

We also hear that no major track has been planned to mark the smooth exit of Archana from the track. All said and done, it looks as though the creative team will be forced to show an abrupt end to Archana’s track, what with Ankita Lokhande not shooting for the show presently.
