“Ankita & I are not married yet”, clarifies Sushant Singh Rajput

Word that Sushant Singh Rajput would screen his film debut Kai Po Che in Patna for his family and friends has gone around this week.

While confirming his plans to indeed host a screening of his film in Patna, Sushant lays forward a pre-condition. “If there’s a screening of my film in Patna there has to one in Indore as well. Indore is my girlfriend Ankita’s home-town. To me there is no difference between her home-town and mine. If I have a screening in Patna I must have one in Indore as well. Her family and friends are mine.”

TV actress Ankita Lokhande (Pavitra Rishta) and Sushant have been dating for the last 4 years. There is a strong rumour that the two are already married.

Laughs Sushant, “I’ve been hearing those rumours for three years now. Why would we hide our marriage when we’re so open about our relationship? When we get married we’d let the whole world know, because we’ve nothing to hide in our relationship.”

And yes there would be three wedding receptions in Patna, Indore and Mumbai when the wedding happens.

At the moment Ankita is entirely focussed on Sushant’s movie debut.

“She is much more excited about Kai Po Che than I could ever be. According to Ankita I am already a star. This is one time when I am not arguing with her,” chuckles the far-from-nervous movie debutant.
