The Episode starts with Emily saying I want to talk to Aarav. She takes Aarav upstairs. She says my parents got divorced, I never got family’s love, Mridula loves me, I fell sick once, my parents weren’t there, just Mridula was with me, she cared for me, I saw joint families and festivals in India, I love India, I want to live in India, in a joint family. Aarav says I got many things like that since childhood. Emily says yes, I didn’t think this will happen. He says even I didn’t think. She says if this happened, would I like it. He asks would you like it, would you accept it.

Emily recalls Mridula’s words. She says I will tell you, I like you, you are a nice guy, your family is good, I would have said yes. Aarav asks really. She says yes, Aarav, what would we do if this marriage isn’t accepted. He says then we have to officially get separated, divorce. She recalls her parents fighting. She shouts no and cries.

Gunjan says divorce happens. Anandi says it’s a big word, those who get married are connected by births, I know the pain of many who get divorced, many just get separated, this marriage is just an accident, they didn’t get connected, marriage happens with entire family, this is like a game. Emily says no divorce, I can be here with you and your family, I have a question, do you love me. Jaman comes and signs Aarav to say yes. Emily says if you don’t love me, then this marriage has no meaning, we should stop this right here.

Jaman signs him to say yes. Aarav recalls Jaman’s words. Emily says say it, yes or no. Aarav says yes. Emily smiles. Aarav says I love you Emily. Emily says now we got married, I m so happy. She goes. Jaman says you will go to America now. Emily runs to Anandi. She says I have something to tell you, our marriage is done.

She tells wrong words. Everyone looks on. Pinky says someone stop her. Aarav says she means rasam. Emily asks Anandi to come. Anandi says stop. Gunjan says we have to do grah pravesh rasam. Kanchan explains to Emily. They welcome Emily home. Emily ties the dupatta as a scarf. Aarav takes Anandi’s permission, and makes Emily wear it over her head.

Anandi goes Emily’s aarti. Aarav says its a welcome to home, we light diya on all good happy things, like you light a candle there. Emily blows off the diya. Gulab laughs. Emily cuts the laddoo and feeds it to Anandi. Gunjan says you blew off the diya, you will ruin the family. Emily says thanks, congrats everyone. She makes everyone shocked by her wrong words. Aarav says she will get me dead. Anandi gets angry and goes. Emily asks what happened, didn’t she like it Aarav asks Emily to come.

Jaman says it’s a wrong word. Emily says Gunjan said it, I just repeated it. Aarav says it’s a bad word. Emily worries. He says you did wrong to blow off the diya, its pure thing to light the diya, never blow it off. Emily says sorry. Anandi prays. Gunjan say we have to do something, else it will be a joke of our culture, I can’t tolerate this. She acts to cry. Aarav asks Emily to say sorry. Emily says sorry, you felt bad of my words. Gulab jokes on Anandi. Aarav says Emily didn’t mean that.

Jaman says take her inside, else she may say anything wrong. He asks can we come in now. Kanchan says we will do the rasam inside, she won’t do anything wrong. Anandi stares at Emily.

Emily comes in and goes back to walk inside again and again. Anandi says she is on trial here, she has to prove herself. Emily runs and locks herself in the room. Aarav and everyone ask her to open the door.
