Amita Ka Amit 25th April 2013 Written Episode

Ammu is tearful and asks Amit, here you are angry with me and there papa is angry with me. You know he has never been angry with me before. I spoke in a harsh tone with him and he….he left angrily. Tell me what’s my fault in this? Only this much that I’m trying hard to become the daughter-in-law of this house? Whenever I try to do something good opposite happens. What do I do? What’s my fault in this Amit? She looks at him. He is quietly busy bandaging her foot. She too goes quiet on not getting any response from him. She cries hard and keeps her head on her legs. Amit notices her crying and thinks of reaching out to her. He is hesitant to do so and in the end stops himself.

Riya and Tina are pacing in the corridor outside the guestroom. They are both waiting for Amit. Riya is sleepy as it is already 11 pm. Tina says this means they are sleeping in the same room. She wonders how things got well so quickly between them.

Amit takes his blanket and pillows and settles himself on the sofa. Ammu tells him to sleep in the guestroom rather than sleeping on the sofa. If I would have been able to go then I would have.
Amit replies what do you think? Should we continue worrying about each other after what happened today? Ammu becomes somewhat sad and asks but then why are you sleeping here? Because you care for me right? He retorts no. He is here so that tomorrow when someone from her family asks then you wont tell them that her husband dint took care of her. He left her alone when she was hurt. She denies.
Amit says you know the truth. Let us not discuss it. We should rather sleep and wishes her good night. She wishes him too and goes limping (walking with the help of side stick) to the bed and lies down. He was watching her move all the while. He gets up and puts the cushion under her hurt foot. He says, the doc told you to keep a cushion under your foot and you forgot already. You cant remember such a small thing and you want to sleep alone.
He goes back to the sofa and lies down while Ammu keeps smiling to herself.

Next morning Ammu is looking for Amit. She founds a sticky note on the door of their room. She reads – I have left for office already. She smiles and says, go then what do I do?
She walks back inside to find another note. It reads – doc has asked you not to walk too much. Ammu smiles, what’s the use of this. You are not going to take me out.
She looks at his photo and smiles. She walks to her hair dresser and spots the third note. It says, stop! I told you not to walk and you came here. Your medicines are kept next to your bedside table. Don’t forget to take them. She smiles broadly ok.

Batuk and Sanjay tease Amit, now he is not our old Amit…..he has become Amita’s Amit. Amit tells them not to joke in the office as he is working. They say they are doing what good friends should…..tease him. They smile and ask how it is going with Amita. He replies that he doesn’t know for real. He changes the topic to Sanjay’s marriage preps. Before Sanjay can answer Amit’s phone beeps (a reminder!)
He goes aside stating he needs to make an important call. He rings up Ammu and then fumbles. His friends hear her name and say IMPORTANT CALL! Ammu smiles. Amit tells her to check the bedside table as he forgot his pen. He generally doesn’t but somehow forgot today.
She goes to check and tells him that it isn’t there. He asks then what else is there. She replies medicines that you have kept. He asks her if she took them or not. He waits with bated breath for her answer. She smiles and says ji. Amit disconnects the phone before she can thank him. She smiles looking at the phone and says, I know you always keep your pen in your pocket and never take it off.

Ammu rings up at her home. Her parents are sitting next to the phone only but guess it be Amita’s. Hemant looks away. Varsha picks up the phone after a few rings. She says she was working in the kitchen. Ammu asks if his father has taken his bath.
Varsha immediately replies he has and is watering the plants now. Ammu smiles and says, you cant lie ma. I know he is sitting there only. He is angry with me na. He wont talk with me.
Varsha says don’t know what has happened but all will be well. I will tell him to call you. Ammu wishes her Jai Shri Krishna and they disconnect.

Varsha looks at Hemant. Why did you not speak with her? She was sounding so worried. This time she is trying to adjust herself in her new home and you are fighting. I know you are angry with her for she dint came with you. Ok. I will tell her that she has become a stranger for her papa.
Hemant asks for a cup of tea. Varsha leaves in a huff. Hemant speaks to himself how I tell you Varsha. We have been made strangers by Ammu.

Nani comes with the chits left by Amit. She shows it to Amit’s parents saying, he left chits for us to keep tabs on Ammu for her massage and bandage.
Fallu smiles, I always knew he is hard from outside only but very soft hearted from inside. He cant see anyone in pain. Her husband replies it isn’t about anyone. She is his wife.
Nani says this proves that there has been no big issue between them. Amit’s dad agrees with her.
They spot Amita coming out of her room and rush to her. Fallu says why are you outside? You should have called us. Ammu assures them she is feeling better than before. She can walk too. So I thought…..can I go to meet ma papa? I will be back by the evening.
Everyone is a little tensed but Amit’s dad agrees to drop her on the way to his office. She thanks him.

-Break-

Hemant is speaking to someone about delay in delivering sweets. The bell rings. Varsha goes to check and finds Ammu. She welcomes her inside. Hemant speaks to his customer and tells he would be getting them soon.
Ammu walks in and the atmosphere is quite tensed. She tells her mother that she wants to speak to her papa alone. Varsha nods and goes to get something for her to eat.

Hemant recalls Ammu’s words. I am not your Ammu, I am Amita Amit Shah. He gets up and goes to his room. Ammu follows but her dad closes the door on her face. She begs him to open the door. I am sorry. Please listen to me once.
Varsha comes. She too tells him to open the door. He should at least listen to her once. She knocks. Ammu tells her not to. She knows the way to make up with him. She slips a chit inside his room.
Hemant notices it and is in a dilemma as to what should he do. He goes to pick it.
It reads sorry papa with a sad smiley. Ammu thinks of something and shouts Aah! He immediately rushes to her aid. Stand straight or else you will sprain your leg. Ammu smiles. He understands the trick and looks at her.

-Break-

Hemant goes back inside his room this time leaving the door open for Ammu to come in. They both stand next to the window.
Ammu starts the convo, papa I shouldn’t have said what I said yesterday. I know I have hurt you a lot. Papa, mine and Amit’s relation is very weak at the moment. This is the time to reap it with all the love so that it strengthens. For that I took help of my strongest relation – yours and mine. Because I know our relation wont break ever. I have hurt you a lot. I’m sorry papa. Wont you forgive me?
Hemant replies, this is what I’m trying to tell you. Your relation is very weak then why are you trying to mend it? She smiles because papa there is hope. I understand him. I know he isn’t the prince charming that I have always dreamt of but he is a good human being. Hemant looks at her surprised. Ammu continues, yesterday what all you heard was only half truth. That’s why you misunderstood. You think papa you said so much to him still he dint answer you back. You know why? Because he has got good values and upbringing. You saw how I fell and now I am here. The credit goes to Amit. He took care of me day and night. Whatever is in between us or if there is nothing, still he took care of me. You only said people who support us in hard times aren’t bad. Amit isn’t bad, he is very good. If I had come with you yesterday then I wouldn’t have gotten to know. He isn’t the one to show off. He has a pure heart. That’s why believe me whenever he will start our relation, he will start it genuinely. I am waiting for that day only. We will have to wait. If not today then tomorrow it will happen….it will surely happen. Hemant looks at Ammu who is smiling. Episode ends on her content face!

Precap: Everyone is at the dining table including Preeti and Sanjay. Preeti tells Amit that he and Sanjay are going for a movie why don’t you and Ammu join us. Amit tries to protest but every present there insists while he looks confusedly at everyone. Ammu has made a cross of her fingers and waits to hear how Amit will react.
