Alaxmi – Hamari Super Bahu to be aired on weekends

Alaxmi – Hamari Super Bahu is not being taken off air.

We were all hearing since the past two days that Alaxmi – Hamari Super Bahu would be taken off air. We received an sms this morning from Jd Majethia, Producer of the show, “Alaxmi – Hamari Super Bahu is back on Life OK! Historical event on Indian TV as one show which had received the termination letter is back next week with lots of new elements.”

We called Jd Majethia who explained, “The show has been doing well, surely not badly. The channel ultimately decided to retain the show- however they wished to shift it to the weekend slot. There is after all no family show on Life OK on the weekends. The channel believes that this show has a lot of potential and can go on to be a hit like Baa Bahu Aur Baby. This show will be coming back with a fresh look and will be telecast on Saturdays and Sundays, each episode will be an hour long. The total weekly duration of the show will be almost as good as having five episodes on weekdays. This show is a slice of life drama and has rollicking humour which makes it wholesome family entertainment.”
