Alan Kapoor and Minal Mogam to enter Diya Aur Baati Hum

The numero uno show Diya Aur Baati Hum, produced by Shashi Sumeet Productions Pvt. Ltd on Star Plus, is all set to proceed towards the IPS track wherein the protagonist Sandhya (Deepika Singh) will kick-start her IPS training.

She will now encounter and meet many cadets who will be on the same mission of becoming IPS officers at the training camp.

The show will now have few important entries in actors Neil Bhatt, Alan Kapoor and Minal Mogam. Neil will play the role of Cadet Zakhir while Alan will play Rahul who will also be undergoing training. Minal will play the role of Roma.

When contacted, Neil who was last seen essaying the role of Lakshman in Zee TV’s Ramayan told us, “Talks are on, but I have got no confirmation.”

Alan, who acted in the recent Sunny Deol starrer Singh Sahab the Great, was unavailable for comments. We could not get through to Minal as well. Minal was last seen entertaining television audiences in Buddy Project (Channel V).

We hear that these characters will have a major role to play in the upcoming track. They will be seen on the show for few months.
