Akkash Bharadwaj and Asha Singh in Pyaar Ka Dard Hai Meetha

There’s a buzz about Rajshri Production’s show Pyaar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyaara Pyaara which will hit the airwaves on 18 June (2012) on Star Plus. The show is a love story which puts light on the issue of upbringing and has many renowned faces in the star cast namely Nakuul Mehta, Mukesh Khanna amongst others. And other actors to join the league of super performers are Akkash Bharadwaj and Asha Singh.

Akkash was seen in Subhash Ghai’s super hit Shah Rukh Khan starrer movie Pardes. In the movie he played the protagonist’s brother. Later he went on to feature in many theatre acts and also in a few TV shows.

In Pyaar Ka… Akkash would essay Prem, female protagonist’s uncle and will share a different level of chemistry with his wife Suman (Ajita Kulkarni). Their character will be similar to Prem and Suman from the movie Maine Pyaar Kiya.

On the other hand, Asha Singh will play the mother of the female protagonist.

“It’s a very nice character and I am looking forward for our first episode to hit the airwaves,” confirmed Akash.
