After Tujh Sang Preet Lagai Sajna, Sahara One’s Ghar Aaja Pardesi to go off-air

Recently, the media was abuzz with the news of Creative Eye’s Tujh Sang Preet Lagai Sajna going off-air. But now, it looks like this is not the only show which is going to pulled off the plug on Sahara One.

The latest is that Sai Baba Telefilms’ Ghar Aaja Pardesi too will have to face the axe due to poor TRPs. As per a reliable source, the show is all set to go off-air on 7 June, 2013… which is also the off-air date of Tujh Sang.

Furthermore, since the channel has no replacement projects in hand, Ghar Aaja Pardesi’s 8:30 pm slot will see the repeat telecast of Jai Jai Jai Bajrang Bali and Tujh Sang’s slot (7PM) will be taken by Sur Kshetra’s re-run.

When we contacted actress Ruchi Savarn aka Devika (Ghar Aaja), she exclaimed, “I have no idea about it. We are currently shooting for my wedding sequence.”

We tried contacting Sai Baba Telefilms’ producer Gajendra Singh and Sahara One’s Programming Head, Sandeep Wadhwa, but they remained unavailable for comment.
