After Dakssh’s exit, another ENTRY in the show, ‘Ishq Ka Rang Safed’..!

The show ‘Ishq Ka Rang Safed’ has been in the news lately for several reasons. It witnessed the apparent abrupt exit of actor Dakssh Ajit Singh with the entry of actor, Khushwant Walia.

However, another major entry has just been confirmed. Veteran actress, Guddi Maruti who was last seen in the show, ‘Woh Teri Bhabhi Hai Pagle’ is set to enter the show in a pivotal role.

The show is witnessing a major change where Dhaani (Eisha Singh) is shocked to see the entry of her first husband’s family, Raja Awasthi (Khushwant Walia) as her former brother-in-law and her mother (Gulfaum Khan) and his maternal aunt. The character of maternal aunt will be potrayed by actress, Guddi Maruti.

We contacted Guddi, who confirmed saying, “Yes, I am doing the role on ‘Ishq Ka Rang Safed’. It is a very interesting character where along with the comic aspect the character will also have grey shades.”

Known for her comic prowess, she mentions about this change in portrayal of a negative character, “Its fun to portray different roles and doing comedy with tinge of grey character is amazing. I have started shooting and the cast and crew are great to work with.”

She added, “Its an intended three-four month old cameo role, however, we will wait to see how the role and track develops in future and will accordingly decide on it.”
