After Airlines, Nikhil Deewan bags Gulmohar Grand

Actor Nikhil Deewan who played the MCP character of Rathore in Star Plus’ finite series, Airlines – Har Udaan Ek Toofan is excited to be back on the same time slot, as he plays an important character in the newly launched series, Gulmohar Grand, produced by Sunshine Productions for Star Plus.

In Gulmohar Grand, Nikhil will enter in the 4th episode, which will be aired on 24 May.

As per a reliable source, “Nikhil will play the role of the Chief Security Officer at the hotel; the man will be full of attitude.”

Interestingly, Nikhil was earlier called to play an episodic character in Gulmohar Grand, even when Airlines was on air. However, Nikhil could not pick up the offer then, as he was based in Delhi. But when he landed in Mumbai recently, he got offered a continuity role in the show.

When contacted, Nikhil confirmed the news stating, “Yes, it is exciting working with Sunshine Productions. And it is super exciting to be on air on the same time slot, after Airlines. I am enjoying my work, is all that I can say.”
