Afsar Bitiya 25th September 2012 Written Update

Here we go for today’s update….
Part One
Krishna gets up and begins to walk. Saraswati stops her and asks her to come and sit down. She wants to tell her something. Krishna asks her to go on. Saraswati opens her heart out – I have always been unfair to you from childhood. I never allowed you to do what you wanted. I never gave you the love you deserved and when you did get the love from your husband Pintuji I separated you from him who loves you so much. I am really bad. I have kept you away from happiness. Please forgive me

Krishna stops her – No one is bad only time can be bad. So you need not apologise. Mothers should never say sorry they can only give blessings. From now on, never think of such things even in your dreams. However, yes today you have been unfair – ( her Mom wonders…) I am so hungry and you haven’t yet given me something to eat.

Saraswati holds Krishna’s hands and says – I want to say one more thing. I am thinking of dropping you back at your sasuraal. Krishna is shocked. Saraswati continues that she wants to rectify her past mistakes and wants Pintu and Krishna to live together again. She says – Give me a chance to make amends for my bad deeds. They hug. Saraswati tells her that she would take Krishna the following morning to the TTS mansion and ask for forgiveness from the entire Pintu Singh family.

Pinky somehow manages to notice this from her terrace….( she always there….with something up in her mind!)
Part Two
At the TTS mansion Ganga brings food for Babloo, who is sitting beside Sonu very sad. He does not want to eat. Ganga tries explaining to him how he and Pintu too would get hurt when they were small and one should not stop eating for such small things. Sonu would be alright. She tells him – I will feed you and she feeds Babloo ( a truly emotional and loving scene…). Babloo has tears in his eyes as he manages to gulp a few bites.( brilliant acting…)
Pintu Singh walks in and Ganga tells him that she will get some food for him too. She asks him to take care of his brother.

Pintu comes and sits next to his brother and looks at Sonu. Babloo says – You know what, how naughty we were when we were small. Sonu has hardly hurt himself that much but the difference is that we had a MOM to help us out when we got hurt. God cannot be everywhere – so he made mothers. No one can love as much as a mother loves her child and most importantly her love never diminishes. As Mom knew I did not eat, she fed me with her own hands. For a mother a child is a child always irrespective of age. He is never big he is always a son. A Mom can very easily shoulder the responsibilities of a Dad but a Dad can never be in the shoes of a mother. I tried my very best to take care of Sonu but could not take the place of Sargam.
(this scene was my favourite today!)
Pintu Singh says – I can understand your feelings. Mom is trying her best and if Krishna was here too Sonu would never miss his mother. Maybe we are not destined to be happy in this house.

Back at Krishna’s place, Chanchal is happy as the newspaper has the pictures of Krishna and Pintu Jijaji. She shows it to all the family members but feels bad that her pictures were missing though she played an important role of training them for the dance. Krishna tells her that in a few years she too can get married and take part in a contest and win it then she too will be seen in the papers. Ravi makes fun of her that who would marry her is the question! Saraswati asks Krishna to get ready to go to Pintuji house. All leave to fix breakfast.

At the TTS mansion, he is talking to some Chowbeyji who tells him – See the paper. It has the photo of your son and daughter in law on the first page. What is happening? What about your respect and standing in the society? Looks like you are having no control over your family any more.
TTS gets another call where there is congratulations followed by mocking yet again. TTS is upset. He throws the paper.

At the BDP residence, Bihari is upset that Prishna’s picture is in the papers. They wonder that if only they had helped out that man who had fallen we would have won the contest. Pinky tells them that she was unaware of that round or else she would have kept them informed about it. She however tells them to watch the fun at the TTS household. She calls up someone and gives some instructions with a smile which we all can now well understand!
Part Three
TTS is walking out when a phone comes. It is Pinky who congratulates him when he is already upset. He tells her that all are laughing at me. You never helped me in getting them evicted from the contest despite my request. Pinky tells him that she did try her best. Meanwhile a man comes with a bouquet of flowers. TTS looks at it and reads a letter that comes along with it. It states that someone is in love with Krishna after seeing her perform. Pinky is happy at the other end of the phone as she knows he has got that letter! TTS is furious! He throws the flowers and the letter with his – Ghajab!
Pinky says – My job is done! Poor Krishna!
Pintu Singh is trying to make Sonu walk and Sonu tells him that he is tired. Pintu bribes him of some chocolates and Sonu is ready to walk. TTS comes there and stares at Pintu. He shows him the paper. Pintu asks for Sonu to be taken to his room as he can foresee a fiery scene! Ganga is wondering what has happened. TTS starts off – What more has to happen? There is nothing left. All the pictures in the papers say it all. People are calling up and talking about our family and our self respect. They say I don’t have any control over my family. He tears the papers. Pintu keeps looking at his angry Dad!

Saraswati has come to drop Krishna when TTS states very clearly – All in – laws have some expectations from their bahus – So Krishna can very well stay here as a bahu but she cannot pursue her IAS!
A wonderful episode with dialogues depicting the eternal love of a mother for her child – by Babloo – and TTS and his stand on Krishna’s return to her sasuraal!
