Afsar Bitiya 24th August 2012 Written Update

Part One

It begins with Krishna giving her day’s earnings to her mother. She is very happy and blesses her and hopes for even more success in their business. Just then walks in Dihati and tells Saraswati that what days have come that she is making her ‘jamai’ that is son in law sell thongas to help her out! Saraswati asks Krishna if this is indeed true… Krishna is in a fix and not sure what to say…
Ravi come forward ( to save Krishna…)and tells his chachi why she is talking all unnecessary things?
Dihati says she has not only heard but seen too…Ravi then asks her to wear specs eitherafter…he adds that she could see Pintu but not him ( Ravi himself…) – he says I had given the money to Pintu to give it to Krishna. And with great difficulty we have started a business please do not interfere with our work. Dihati feels that he has started answering back a lot! and leaves…( Relief for all….)

Ravi tells his mother that she should not get affected by what Chachi says as she knows her nature very well. Mom asks both Krishna and Ravi to freshen up while she lays the food.
Krishna thanks Ravi for rescuing her from the situation and Ravi tells her that now he is more courageous and thats why he can now come forward to face difficulties…HE also tells Krishna that she too would have done the same had he been in a tight spot. Krishna agrees and shares a sweet smile…

Part Two

At TTS mansion TTS is really upset. He says when God had blessed him with two sons he thought he was the most fortunate person on earth. He says he thought my sons will take my legacy forward…One has a passion for lecturing and the other is selling thongas and along with it my self respect!!!

Pintu is not amused…He simply looks away…He tells Pintu – YOu are really concerned about Krishna and her state… Wait I am just coming…Pintu and Ganga wonder what TTS means. Ganga tells Pintu that he did not do the right thing. Pintu is sad and upset that no one is able to understand him.

TTS comes with lots of money and throws it at Pintu and tells him to give it all to Krishna…but requests him to to sell his self respect in the market place…Dont kill me while I am alive by selling thongas…He is really furious and says with what face can I go to the Bhagalpur marketplace. All will make fun of me.

Pintu tells his father that Krishna is my wife and I can cannot see her sadness. He adds that whatever is the situation of her family today… somewhere we too are responsible for it. TTS screams at Ganga Devi and says – Can you see what your son is saying?

Enters Babloo with Sonu and asks Sitaram to change his clothes.
Ganga tells Pintu that indeed Krishna is his wife and he must help her but not in this way.
Is they wanted to do business it could have been a better one. Pintu is quiet. Babloo on hearing all this interferes and says – Mom what are you saying? If Pintu wants to help his wife through honesty and hard work what is wrong?
TTS sighs and says – Here he comes!( to Babloo… and his lectures…)

Babloo continues that she should be happy that her son is so self respectful that without taking a single penny from his Dad he is trying to help his wife. TTs wants to know that to prove his self respect what more should Pintu be doing?
Should he drive a rickshaw? Polish shoes? Sell nuts? Or will he work as a coolie at the railway station? Tell me what more work will he do?

TTS leaves really really upset. Ganga follows him…
Babloo and Pintu share a look in which Babloo tells Pintu – its ok…Pintu feels better.

Next morning at Krishna’s place she is getting ready to leave. Her mother skas her where she was going. She tells her that she is going to meet Babloo Sir tofind our about some books and then she has to buy them as well. She tells her that IAS requires a lot of hardwork – many books and lots to study…Her mom says that it must be difficult to become a collector. Krishna says that is true but having become a collector one cannot easily then suspend you!
The maximum one can do is transfer you…Her mother then tells her that she should then study hard and become a collector soon. Who knows maybe one day you become a greater officer than Pinky! Then she too will have to listen to your instructions…Krishna smiles and takes leave.

Saraswati goes in front of VP’s picture and says that he was right in saying that Krishna is their pride…with every obstacle and difficulty her determination never dwindled…with the self confidence you have given her – she will definitely reach the top one day and make you proud!

At TTS mansion Ganga is pacifying TTS that he should forget what happened and not take it to heart…( tough jobs for moms always get caught up between husbands and sons…)
TTS shares with her that she can very well see what all Pintu is doing…I have already lost one son ( Babloo…) but at least one of my sons could have followed my foot steps…He looks at Sone who is doing his home work. TTS expresses his concern for Sonu. He says Babloo has created a circle ( of good values!!!) around him from which it is difficult to remove him. I dont want Sonu to also live in that circle. Hope you understand Ganga. He calls out to Son and asks him what was going on? He lifts him and gives give a kiss and says you have become big… and looks into hisbook…only to see a picture…of a lady…Ganga too comes there to see what Sonu has drawn…She sees Mummy written near the drawing…and is touched.
She hugs him.

At Babloo coaching centre Krishna and Babloo are discussing about the subjects to choose for the preliminary and final exams. Krishna tells him that she wants to take History for the Prelims and for the finals she soul like to choose History and Psychology. Babloo is happy with her choice. Krishna is worried about her interviews…as they do see the English pronounciation…in the interviews…and my English is not too good…
Babloo tells her that now a days interviews can be given in Hindi too…Krishna says hope this wont reflect on my abilities. Babloo says more than knowledge of Englilsh what is needed is knowledge on the subject! He adds that if he was in Krishna’s place he would have preferred to give his viva in Hindi despite knowing English. Krishna thanks him for his direction and guidance and feels confident and enthusiastic. Babloo smiles… Krishna says she will get the necessary books and start her preparation straightaway…

Pintu is in again and is ordering for some books for Krishna in a book shop. Krishna comes there looks at them and asks the shopkeeper to pack them and give her the bill. He tells her its costs Rs 18,000!!!!! Krishna is shocked…but keeps her cool and says she does not have that much money as of now…but requests him to keep them aside so that she can pick them up later. The shopkeeper tells her that he respects her as when she was the BDO she had done a lot of welfare work for the common man. He adds that is was not in debt he would have given all the books to Krishna for free. Krishna says she understands his feelings. Both Pintu and Krishna leave from there…

Pintu reassures Krishna not to worry and he would definitely find a way!( We know that Sir!) Krishna tells him please dont ask your Mom and Dad for money to buy these books. Your self respect is of utmost importance to me. I would not want you to feel small in front of anyone! She tells him that she had given her mother some money and if she still had it she can procure the necessary books with that. And the remaining books I will look for in the library and study there… Pintu smiles holds her hand and says – Come!

He takes her to a small restaurant and orders for two plates of samosas and tea! Krishna sasy she is not hungry. Pintu asks Why? are you not hungry – It is said on an empty stomach one cannot do anything…so first eat then we can think…The snacks arrive and Pintu is happy at the quick service! Pintu looks at Krishna and says he realises how important it is to get the books as soon as possible so he will look for a job soon enough…Krishna is surprised that Pintu is thinking of a job…Pintu tells her that his wife has started studying and selling thongas just takes about an hour so I have decided to look for a job…it will help in two ways – one I can use my time well… second with the money that flows in I can help you in your studies…Krishna smiles… Pintu adds that he has also thought of how to looks for a job…Krishna wants to know what exactly he has thought?
Then beginsPintu in his Kinshuk style…dialogues delivered like the stalwarts of Indian cinema…
Amitabh style – ” Aain… from wherever I stand the line starts from there…”
Gabbar Singh/ Amjad Khan – ” So please give me the job Thakur!”
Raj Kumar – ” Remember – I dont ask for a job I just steal it!”
” Give me this job…”

Salman Khan – ” Please do me a favour – of not doing any favour…just give me a job …Pintu Singh”
Krishna is tunned… with his acting skills… and Pintu bursts into a cute little smile of his…
He asks her how did she enjoy this style of asking for a job?

(We loved it Kinshuk a lot!!!! Aapki naukri lag bhi gayi aur pakki bhi ho gayi…))

Krishna is really laughing uncontrollably. She says that you know how to love well…( we all know that… he is the king of romance!) but to ask for work you need to be trained…
Kinshuk is wondering what went wrong with his method( he did impress all of us right?)
He says he is ready for the training.
Krishna tells him that first he should ask for permission to enter the cabin…
hen reply to the questions asked with confidence…she continues and Pintu listens intently…( while most of us look at him …)
Pintu then tells that let us practice now…Let us imagine that I have come to ask for a job to you…
He stands up – Knock knock…
Madamji can I come in?
He asks if this part was ok?

Krishna smiles and says it was fine…Pintu then tells Krishna – now see very quickly I will get a job…She smiles… He smiles (and all of us too…He was truly brilliant!)

Part Three

Krishna come back home and her mother asks her where the books were. She tells her that they cost a lot … Chanchal then comes home…she cries and tells them that she was sent back from school as they had not paid up the fees of two months…All are sad. Manisha is upset too…Krishna asks her mother if she had some money but her mother had spent it all…Krishna says doesn’t matter I will go and collect my salary from office and pay your fees on the way back…

At the BDO office Pinky asks what brought Krishna there…She says she has come to take her salary… Pinky says she wont get her salary…
