Afsar Bitiya 23rd August 2012 Written Update

Part One

Pintuji and Krishna are on their way back home. Pintu asks Krishna what she was thinking as she looks engrossed in some thought. Krishna says – Nothing. Pintu tells her not to lie( surely he can read his wife’s sorry life’s mind!!!) He tells her it was a big day for her and she should be happy. Krishna tells him that she is worried of her decision of IAS. She tells him that they had just started a Thonga making business. She feels it was necessary for her to help out Ravi in gaining self confidence especially after his arrest! Also IAS will require a lot of time for studying and money too… Pintu tells her that you talk too fast – please give me some time to solve your problems. He adds that however big the problem don’t talk of losing hope. Even for the BDO exam you did not even have Rs 2000 for the question bank, but with your confidence and intelligence you did emerge victorious.

Krishna says it was different then. Pintu asks her what was different? She says she had her Dad then.
Pintu nicely reminds her that he is still with her… and he is watching you climb the ladder of success. Smartly he adds that Krishna had one more special thing now…Krishna wonders… Pintu points at himself and says – Me – Pintu Singh ( we all agree here Mr Singh!) Krishna starts smiling… He tells her that all will be well…

Part Two

At Pinky’s residence she is waiting anxiously… Nirmal calls her up to tell her that Krishna is preparing for the IAS. Pinky face changes colour and she drops her phone. She looks at the mirror and wonders every time I try to bring her down she is up to something. She tells Krishna whatever dreams you see they will break and the tears that flow from your eyes will make me happy ( really a sadist) She thinks of talking to Babloo as she knows that Krishna will approach him for help and guidance.

At Krishna residence Manisha is handing over some bags to Nirmal as he is leaving for some place. Saraswati enquires and gets to know that he is going to his Dad’s place as he was unwell. She asks Manisha too to join him but Nirmal is not interested.

Krishna and Ravi come out with some bags and her mother asks her where she was going? She tells her that they were going to sell Thongas. Saraswati tells her that she has to study but Krishna convinces her that there is time for the exam and both she and Ravi leave home to sell the thongas.

Krishna comes to meet Babloo Sir and sees Sonu there. He comes running to hug his chachi… He tells her that he was alone at home since all had gone out so had come to his Dad’s coaching centre. Babloo asks her how she was and Krishna says Fine. Babloo tells her that he had heard from Pintu that she was preparing for IAS and he was very happy to hear about it.
Krishna says she had come to seek his blessings.
Babloo tells her that your hardwork and effort will take you places. Any help you need feel free to ask me. It is not going to be an easy path – there will be obstacles ( he has the foresight of BDP and their pranks…) Stick to your decision and I am confident of your success once you have made up your mind. He asks her what subject has she chosen? Krishna says she has not decided yet and he tells her to let him know once she decides so that he can guide her. She takes leave from him.
She says,” I promise that I will work hard and make you proud and your wishes come true. With your blessings I will be an IAS officer!”
She then leaves.

Both Pintu and Krishna meet under a tree – Krishna is unhappy that they lied to her mother as actually Pintu was to sell the thongas while she studied. She says she did not know how to thank him! Pintu tells her that she can thank him after getting a gift from him. Krishna issurprised… Pintu gives her a gift – which she opens and finds a ( not bangles… but) a book of general studies for the UPSC!!! ( Pintu has come a long way….)

Krishna says now I can thank you for this book. Pintu tells her instead of thanking me so many times give me a hug for every think you…( fair enough!) He then tells her to start studying while he goes from shop to shop to sell the thongas. He is unsuccessful initially but later manages to make some sales…He gives the money to Krishna and both have lunch together – feeding one another…(Song at the back ground…Dil ke iraade… sachche ho jo…)

Pinky passes by and sees Krishna studying under a tree. She asks her driver to stop. Pintu comes there and says that he has sold all the thongas and hands over the money to Krishna. He then tells her that they should leave. Ont he bike both of them leave… Pinky see this…

Part Three

At the TTS mansion TTS and Ganga have returned from the temple satisfied with their darshan… TTS asks Sitaram for a cup of tea. Pinky arrives there with a bouquet of flowers. She says Namaste to both and hands over the bouquet. Ganga asks what that was for. Pinky says Pintu has started a new business thats why. TTS is surprised ( shocked). She says she saw Pintu and Krishna selling thongas in the market. She expresses her happiness ( her expressions were full of mockery though!) that finally he is doing something. He shows a lot of commitment to his work so I know that one day he will really make it big ( he will madam ji…)
She tells TTS that she has brought some chocolates for Sonu… ( itna chocolate khana/khilana achchi baat nahi…) She takes leave… TTS and Ganga are wondering… In comes Pintuji from the opposite side- Pinky greets him… Pintu can sense that she must have said something to TTS and Ganga. TTS very sarcastically says Welcome to Pintu Singh!

Precap: Krishna gives money to her mother. Meanwhile Dihati come there to says why they were selling thongas…for a living…( she can never mind her business!)
