Afsar Bitiya 20th June 2012 Written Update

It begins with Ganga walking back and forth wondering why Krishna hasn’t come home yet, Pintu ji is equally tensed, both have their eyes set at the door. Krishna comes running, Tensed ganga asks if she is fine and says “leave all this Krishna…just resign from this job.” Krishna says “ma ji what happened?” Ganga says “I can’t risk your life and my family’s…” Tuntun arrives, Krishna says “why are you saying this ma? Tell me…I am just doing my duty.” Ganga says “duty! Duty! Duty! One doesn’t go out to help leaving their family to die! Leave this duty! You know I just got a threatening call…” Everyone gets worried at this.

Ravi is walking on the streets, just when the same goons mess around with him. Ravi says “you guys caused me loss…can’t you walk properly?” They start misbehaving with Ravi. The goons threaten ravi to get a control of his sister or else it won’t be good for any of them.

Nirmal warns everyone at home about Krishna’s doing and tells them to explain Krishna or else it’ll cause problems. Vidya says “she will not stop! Krishna isn’t doing this for fame and money…she is doing this to stop corruption and do something for the country.” Nirmal says “this act of Krishna is going to have us all in trouble.’ Ravi walks in and hears them argue, he says “Jija ji is right! They are very dangerous.” Ravi tells them all what happened at the market while he was coming home, this gets all worried. Nirmal says “this is going to put us all in trouble…” Vidya says “I said nothing will happen! Obviously hurdles will come when people walk the path of truth, you know what? Krishna ran after some guys who took her book, she got hurt physically but she didn’t give up! If she wants to stop corruption then she will not stop.”

Ganga says “they are dangerous and can do anything.” Pintu says “Ma nothing will happen to Krishna, these people don’t rule the Bhagalpur. And you know it well that Krishna exposed these people and obviously they won’t praise her.” Ganga says “no need to be so brave pintu. She is a girl, what if something happens on the way to her work or home? What will you do?” Tuntun is very angry and leaves, he comes back with a gun and says “who dares to threaten my family and my daughter in law.” Ganga says “what are you doing?” Tuntun says “I won’t spare anyone…” Pintu is proud of his dad. “I’ll kill each and every one of them! I won’t spare anyone!” Krishna tries to stop tuntun, but he tells her not to come in her way today. Krishna says ‘Babu ji, don’t take the law in to your hands…the law is there to punish them for their doings! And pintu ji is right, those people can’t do anything that’s why they are just threatening us.’ Tuntun says “Krishna…” Krishna says “babu ji.” Tuntun gets a control on himself and stops.

Back in jail, ST is happy with the goons and says “keep going this way and one day they’ll give up…and we won’t need to do anything else.” The goons assure her they’ll handle it. ST says “now whom will you complain to B.D.O Madam, Krishna Raj!”

Pintu is on the phone with someone and says “I want to know whom threatened my mother and dared to threaten to kill my wife by tomorrow.” Krishna sees pintu tensed and making phone calls,she takes his phone. Pintu says “give me the phone I have some important work to do.” Krishna says “you can do that later, right now you need to calm down.” Pintu says “what do you want me to do then? Some random guy would call my mother an threaten her to kill you and you expect me to do nothing?” Krishna says “I don’t want that, and who can dare to do just anything? But if you do something wrong then this will only get worse. We need to be very careful at this stage.” Sargam comes with vidya and Ravi. Krishna is pleased to see them. Vidya says ‘Tell me how are you?” Krishna says “I am fine but what brings you here all of a sudden?” Vidya says “Krishna, who wouldn’t be scared for a daughter like you.” Krishna says ‘what happened papa? I think I got it. Jija ji told you about what happened at the office.” Vidya says “Krishna I understand you’re his boss but he has seen you grow, him being worried for you is acceptable.” Krishna says “I understand but as a government worker we need to take actions right?” Vidya says “I know but there’s nothing wrong in being cautious.” Krishna says “I understand.” Pintu ji says “You don’t need to worry.” Vidya says ‘I don’t need to worry for her as long as you are here for her. I just felt like meeting her that’s all…now we’ll take your leave.” Krishna offers them tea and snacks but vidya says “no we’re fine.” Vidya leaves, Ravi says “Pintu ji take care of Krishna. The thing is that she cares for everyone but herself.” Pintu says “Ravi you don’t need to worry at all…nothing will happen to Krishna.” Ravi is relived, he higs Krishna and takes their leave. Sargam says “I’ll just escort them to the door.” Prishna look at each other and smile.

Next morning, Krishna comes to the office; she sees that the complaint box is once again full. Choubey says “sorry madam ji, we got scared yesterday.” Mithilesh says “yes, but see the complaint box is full…” Choubey says “now see how Bhagalpur develops…just look at the box overflowing with letters.” Krishna decides to read all the complaints in front of the staff, she tells them to read them and give in their suggestions. Krishna is shocked to read threatening letters. Each and every letter has some threat on it, the entire staff gets scared. Choubey says “leave this madam ji…i am sure they all are threatening letters.” Krishna says “no choubey ji, may be someone has actually written a complaint. Keep reading them.” Nirmal says “Krishna, do you still not see the reality? Are you still ecstatic on this position of yours!” Krishna says “nirmal ji you are crossing your limits.” Nirmal says “I am trying to explain this to you as your brother in law and now some employee in your office. Your family can come in trouble, you can risk your life but why should other face the consequences?” Krishna says “how can you think so narrow?” Nirmal says “why shouldn’t I? I am a family man, if something happens to me then who will look after my family? I believe in what I see…those people threatened Ravi.” Krishna sis shocked and says “what? What happened to ravi?” Nirmal says “I am telling you stop all this, or else we’ll all have to pay for your doings. ” Krishna is in thoughts. (Okay, now she looks a little scared)

ST is being released from the jail.

Krishna says “continue reading the letters.” Nirmal says “did you even get anything of what I said?” Krishna says “Nirmal ji, you told me something being my brother in law and I listened. Now you be my employee and do as I say and let me do my job too. All these people are criminals and I am not afraid of them”

ST is out of the jail, everyone is cheering for her.

Krishna continues to read letters, Nirmal is very angry with Krishna.

ST throws coin, everyone begins to collect them. ST says “the coins that you got, are my blessings.” (Hain? Ek aadh humko bhi dedo…) ST is welcomed by all.

Mithilesh checks a fax that’s just arrived, he reads it and was about to rip it off. Krishna says “stop mithilesh ji…I want to see what came in the fax.” Mithilesh says “it’s useless…” Krishna says “I want to read it, give it here please.” Mithilesh gives it Krishna, it’s a made up article about Krishna’s death, with her photo. (Haaye rabba…am I scared now or not?) everyone is shocked to hear this.

ST asks the goon if he’s continuing with his threats, he says yes. Krishna continues to read the article about how Krishna dies. ST is impressed with the way the goons are doing their job. ST decides to drive herself. (WAH! She’s the man!)

Krishna tears the letter up and says “Choubey ji, mithilesh ji, let’s go.” Choubey says “where?” Krishna says “for the next raid!” Both are happy, Krishna stands there with pride, Nirmal is worried.
