Afsar Bitiya 16th August 2012 Written Update

Ravi and Krishna puts mats on the floor and Chanchal brings old newspapers while Manisha brings some dough. Chanchal wants to know what they were up to? Krishna starts cutting the paper to make Thongas. ( paper bags )( that explains her status on FB) Saraswati asks “What is this?”. Krishna says it is their new business.Chanchal wants to know what does she mean. Krishna tells her that it costs less and a good way to begin. We can sell these. Mainisha says that they will have to make many… Krishna says if all of us work together we can manage and make many – and in an hour each can make around 150 of them. Then at a rate of 50 paise each they can sell around 1000 of them to get Rs 500. Krishna asks them to start working. Ravi is quiet. Krishna asks him why he is not excited about this new project…

Part Two

All of them are busy with their work while SAraswati brings tea for all of them and feeds Krishna Chanchal and Manisha too some snack.
Bihari and Dihati watch all this and are jealous.
Chanchal calls out to Krishna after making a lot of Thongas… she is excited!

At BDP’s pace Dihati says,” Oh God, a person should think of their lineage and self respect. One can’t start doing any kind of work.” Pinky asks what happened and why her mother getting so hyper! Dihati tells her “if you hear you too will get upset. Krishna has started the thonga making business to run her family.”. Pinky says ” Mom look at them -poor things- they are helpless and have to do some work. Krishna is suspended, Ravi is good for nothing and Nirmal is in my pocket. And you know what I saw a funny scene – Krishna and Pintu were selling golgappas”
Dihati says,” What are you saying?” and they break into peels of laughter!
Bihari tells them they don’t understand that Krishna is dangerous. Very soon from a small business she will accomplish something bigger! ( good judgement for once!)

At Krishna’s residence she is happy and convinced that if they work together they will surely be successful! Shet ells everyone that the next morning they will go to sell all the stuff first thing and then only do other work. Chanchal tells her that she too will accompany them.

Bihari says ,” Can’t you see their effort? Remember it does not take much time for fortunes to change!” ( second good thought!)
Dihati says he shoudl not worry about small stuff but Bihari tells her,” Don’t you know Krishna. She can do anything.”
Pinky is listening carefully. She is upto some plan/plot! She opens the cupboard and gived Dihati Rs 50,000 and asks her to hide it at Krishna’s place.Dihati is shocked. Pinky tells her to do as said and see the fun.She adds that Krishna is forgetting that Pinky stays opposite her place – BDO Priyanka Raj!

Dihati takes the money and wants to finish the task given. She goes to Krishna’s house. Krishna and Chanchal see her but move on with their work. She sees Saraswati in the kitchen and enquires about her health. Saraswati wonder and asks what was wrong with her? Dihati says she saw all the thongas and so came over to see…Saraswati asks her to mind her own business. Dihati tells her that she does understand their difficulties and Ravi could easily ask Pinky for some help! ( really???) Saraswati clarifies that they need no help and they can manage with their own efforts.

Suddenly Dihati starts coughing and asks for water. When Saraswati moves to another room she tries to put the money under a bed cover. By then Saraswati returns and asks her what she was upto? Dihati says she liked the bed spread and enquires if it was new…Saraswati says enough of the mockery Can’t you see it is torn at the sides?
Dihati changes the topic and asks where all other were as she can’t see anyone. She asks for Ravi when she hears him call out that he had got the vegetables from the market. While Saraswati goes to Ravi, Dihati quickly goes to the kitchen and tries to put the money in a jar. Manisha enters right then and asks her what was she doing there? She says she saw a mouse and came to shoo it off! Manisha tells her that there is no mouse at their place.
Dihati then quietly slips out of there saying it is too hot now a days… Saraswati wonders as to what is going on!

Back at BDP’s place Pinky tells her mom that maybe she is aging and hence could not succeed in her plan for once. Dihati tells her that clever is the person who can improvise on plans depending on the situation.( smart thought!) So what if I could not do it – your Dad can go and try. Bihari laughs and says that Thundering clouds seldom shower rain! He tells them that he would go ahead and carry on the plan.

He comes to Krishna’s place and sees a lock at the gate. So he jumps over and falls with a shriek. Ravi hears it. He then moves forward and trips on the bucket near the well. By now Ravi is up and come out to see hwo is there. Bihari jumps over and escapes. All come out to see who could it be. Nirmal says maybe a cat must have come. Ravi disagrees and says it must be a thief. Krishna tells him that what can a thief find at their place. Ravi then checks if the door is closed well.

Part Three

Next morning the three of them seek the blessings of their father ( in front of his photo). Ravi says,” Dad with great courage I am trying to do something. Bless us to be successful in this new venture.”
Krihsna says,” We know that you are looking at us. Ravi is starting a new business. Please bless us for courage and confidence.”
Saraswati gives them curd and sugar before they leave. All of them seek her blessings. Manisha also wishes them.
Just then Nirmal comes there and asks what was happening. Manisha tells him that they have started Thongs making business! Nirmal says he was unaware of it and wishes them ( not with his heart though!) He then claims to be getting late for work and take leave. He wants to take his dad – in law’s scooter. Ravi tells him that it has less petrol to which he gets upset that they could not even keep the tank full ( really the limit!) All are shocked and sad at his behaviour.

The three of them take their bags and leave home. Chanchal and Krishna move in one direction and Ravi in the other. Saraswati and Manisha look on.

Precap: Pintuji is telling the golgappa seller that he goes so far to get thongas for his shop. What if her gets those delivered – he will then save money and time which he can use to sell more plates. He wants to know who will get him the thongas? Pintuji holds up a bag full of thongas and gives a smart smile to Krishna with his collar up! ( this scene really made me happy! a glimpse of our hero! )
