Afsar Bitiya 12th September 2012 Written Update

Part One
At Krishna’s place, Chanchal is dancing at dance par chance maar le. Manisha asks her what she was up to. She tells her that she had to practice to teach Krishna and Pintu Jijaji.( she feels like a teacher here…) And here they come. Prishna make an entry. Chanchal is happy at their arrival. She asks them if they have filled the form. Pintuji says they have just filled it. Chanchal lifts both their hands up and says ‘ Mr. and Mrs. Bhagalpur ki Jai Ho! Krishna reminds her that they have just filled the form ‘ they haven’t won the contest! Chanchal says none can stop you from winning as you are so worthy and talented. She adds in a naughty tone that even if you guys are weak in some areas I am there isn’t it? ‘Krishna and Pintu smile’. Chanchal continues ‘ I, Chanchal Raj, am your dance master from today! All of them are smiling.

Krishna notices that Manisha is looking sad and wants to know the reason. Mansiha tells her that she is so lucky and fortunate that she has Pintuji as a life partner! (There are no doubts about that!) She adds that I was wondering how much difference is there between Pintuji and Nirmalji. (zameen aur aasmaan ka…) On the one hand is Nirmalji who is not at all sensitive to the needs of others or emotional whereas Pintuji not only thinks of you but of the whole family of ours. I also tried telling Nirmalji that I want to take part but ‘he’…Pintuji replies that Manisha didi you are misunderstanding Nirmalji. He has so much work at office. He has to come across twenty different kinds of people everyday. So he must be under severe pressure. Krishna nods. Pintu says so under such conditions it is difficult for him take part in the event. So please don’t take all this to heart.( Pintuji…you were so nice…)

Manisha feels relived at those soothing words. She tells Krishna that always remember to do only that which makes Pintuji happy. That is because in today’s world it is very difficult to get a person like Pintuji. Saraswati completely agrees with Manisha and says she is absolutely right. What Pintuji has done as a son in law of the family ‘ even a son may never do the same. May God bless him with a long life. Krishna is so proud to hear these words.

Chanchal comes in to makeup for some lighter moments and says ‘ Even I agree that “Jijaji jaisa insaan milna mushkil hi nahi namumkin hai” ‘ meaning It is not only difficult ot find a person like Jijaji but it is impossible. Pintu pulls his collar up to his saaliji.( so cute…) All of them burst out laughing. Chanchal says there is a lot to be done for the contest. Krishna does not understand. She drags both Pintu and Krishna and starts teaching them dancing. She tells them you should put up such a performance that the judges there must be left with no other option but to declare you winners.( We already have as I said earlier…)

At the BDO office Pinky is talking to the head of the event. She looks into the file and asks him the names of the judges at the event. He tells her that he has thought of a few like Mr. Jaiswal, Mr. Thakkar and Babloo Singh! Pinky’s face changes colour on hearing Babloo’s name!

Part Two
He tells her that he has all the permissions for the event but if she still wants she can check it again. Pinky says she does not want all this. I have called you here to congratulate you. You have done a great job by organizing a contest like this in Bhagalpur! Actually I was thinking that somehow I become a part of this event. But the tragedy is that I am unmarried’. Both laugh’. I cannot be a contestant but if I can be the judge that would make me happy! The head is shocked. Pinky explains that if the BDO is the judge of the event then all problems will be resolved on its own. He is very happy at the suggestion and agrees to Pinky being the judge! Pinky thanks him. She thinks to herself ‘ Now this work is also over’.now I only have one more work to do’..(Pinky and her scheming mind..)

At Krishna’s place Chanchal is training Prishna the dance moves. On Aaja Nach le’.Pintu shows a thumbs up but Krishna is reluctant. Pintu looks so cute trying those steps taught by Chanchal who is happy with her Jijaji and slowly Pintuji asks Krishna to at least try. Both start dancing’Ravi enters and sees the preparation going on. Chanchal is happy that in such less time they have learnt to dance so well. If the judge sees you both dance he will not be able to take eyes off! He will be thrilled!

At the TTS mansion Bihari and Dihati are there ( for their usual work of instigating’) with Pinky and TTS is happy to see his entire family there. He asks them to take a seat. After exchanging pleasantries, Bihari asks TTS if he too was taking part in the Mr. and Mrs. Bhagalpur contest. TTS replies with his Ghajab! Haven’t you found any one since morning to have some fun? Bihari says No I am not joking asking you really? Pinky also tells TTS that he should take part with Ganga chichi because your pair is a superhit one! ( more buttering’.) Dihati says just like Pinky’s Dad and me! ( self confidence or over confidence?). TTS says just hearing my name the entire town feels’.'( does he mean scared’). And if I go with Ganga Devi and do tha tha thaiyya what will people say? Pinky tells him that it is the first time such an event is taking place so all must take part ‘ this gives us a chance to showcase our talent and also we get to do something different. Bihari – Dihati too share the same view of exposing talent. TTS feels this is all nonsense and please remove your names from all this ‘ that would be best for you. Pinky, while having water tells Chachaji -you are biased and not fair. TTS wonders. Pinky tells you haven’t told Prishna to back out but you are asking my parents to.

TTS gets the shock of his life and looks at Ganga ( poor wives’.) Ganga wants to know what she was saying. Dihati says you all are talking as if you don’t know anything. TTS says they indeed did not know anything about it. Pinky then tells him that the whole world knew about it. They are shocked. Dihati adds fuel to the fire by saying that looks like now-a-days Pintuji is not keeping you all informed about everything and is hiding stuff from you. After all you are his parents he should have told.
That was the last straw. TTS is fuming and says he will teach Pintu a lesson today.

Enter Pintu Singh! Bihari is happy that he made an entry at the right time. Pintu can fully understand what has been cooking here.(smart jo hai!) TTS stats ‘ What Pintu Singh you think you are too smart. You think you can do whatever you want, can bring down my name and dignity. Tell me what more can you do. Poor Pintu wants to know what he was talking about. TTS fires back that I am talking about the truth. Can you tell me what prompted you to decide to take part in that cheap contest. Pintu looks at BDP and asks who told him about the contest. TTS lashes that if he did not tell wouldn’t he get to know. Bihari tells Pintu that since TTS is well known in the whole town so they know that you (son of TTS) and Krishna ( our neice) are taking part.

Pintuji gives a sweet smile ( filled with sarcasm..) and asks ‘ Do we ever interfere in your family affairs? Bihari says Never’. Pintu continues softly ‘ No isn’t it? Then in his DBPS style he roars back ‘ Then why do you interfere in our affairs. Dihati tries to say that she felt they were family but Pintu says you need not feel so close to us. You may leave and go home.
TTS gets angry at Pintu that how can you talk like this. Dihati feels they are insulted and wants to leave. They go. Pintu is really angry and very upset with these folks.

TTS starts with his Ghajab! Don’t stare at them with your red eyes! Understood. Ganga starts off by saying that you have forgotten the ways of this family. Whom to talk with and how to talk to people and behave ‘ you don’t know anything? Pintu tries to explain to his Mom but she does not let him finish. She says What was the need to take part in this. Krishna is coaxing you into all this and you are getting swayed by her. Pintu says just listen to me’ but TTS is not interested and tells him that they don’t trust him anymore. The son and daughter in law of TTS will do nautanki..drama in front of the whole of Bhagalpur! You are really glorifying my name and fame in society! Pintu is really upset. TTS says why aren’t you answering me. Can’t you speak.

Pintu says ‘ Just a minute.( back to his DBPS style’.) Babuji ‘ looks like you have forgotten. Let me remind you that I did come to you for money but you refused. I need money therefore I am participating. TTS answers that to help Ravi you wanted the money that too such a small job..Why don’t you do a big job with a big person? Pintu replies No work can be called small or big ‘ and I did work with you once which led to my wife getting suspended and she losing her Dad’s life too. You might have forgotten all this but I still feel terrible about his! He gets emotional and continues ‘ I am not helping Krishna and his family, I am only making amends for the mistakes our family has made and making good for the sins committed. TTS tells that I can see that you are getting very smart. Looks like we won’t get along any more. If you indeed do have so much problem with me, you need not stay in this house anymore. Pintu is shatterd. Ganga is shocked!

Part Three
Pintu tells his Dad that is you don’t want me to stay here it is fine. I will leave this house as soon as possible. And walks away. TTS says Ghajab! Listen to me..and turns around to Ganga ‘ What has happened to your son?

At Krishna’s place she is studying late at night in the dark when Chanchal comes with candle. She asks her to take rest and also reminds her that Dad had always told that studying in the dark would harm the eyesight. Krishna tells her she remembers all that her Dad had told them. Chanchal also reminds her of the dance practice the following day. Krishna assures her that she will practice and that is why she is finishing her next day’s portion too at night. She continues to study.

Krishna and Pintu have come to the TTS mansion to seek the blessings of their parents. TTS leaves without blessing them and they are sad’
