Afsar Bitiya 11th June 2012 Written Update

It begins with Krishna thinking about the poor old people she met just downstairs while she studies a file. Krishna’s phone rings, she looks at it and smiles. (Must be pinto ji.) Krishna says “how did you know I wanted to speak to you?” Pinto smiles and says ‘Miss B.D.O madam, you are my wife…my better half and one doesn’t need a wire to bond with their better halves…you just need to feel it and I come to know what is going on in your mind.” Krishna says “nice…you know how to impress people with your talks…anyways, why did you call?” Pinto says “you tell me first what did you want to say.’ Krishna says “who called first? You right? So, you first.” Pinto says “fine, I’ll give up…the thing is that I wanted to know if everything is well at your end…Manisha didi and nirmal ji…” Krishna says ‘they are all fine…i’ll tell you when I come home in the evening.” Pinto says “really? Then at least tell me why were you going to call me.” Krishna says “the thing is that today when I came to the office after the whole BPL raid thing I truly felt that I have finally succeeded in becoming a B.D.O. The poor people are getting their rights.” Pinto says “congratulations…you have done a very good job but at least tell your husband what issue you are going to solve now…” Krishna says “I have a few complaints which are all hit by the virus called corruption and the one who is really serious I’ll be curing them.” Krishna sees that mithilesh and hangs up the phone, Pinto is sad.

Tuntun and Nirmal sit in the car. Nirmal says “you have done a huge favor on m.” tuntun says “Nirmal babu everyone gets a time to pay back for the favors…and you have a chance in front of you. The thing is that I want you to sit at a better post, and work for me. Do you understand what I am saying?” Nirmal says “I got this job because of you now I’ll do what you want me to.” Both have a laugh.

Mithilesh brings in a new issue and tells Krishna to take action on this one. Krishna says “we’ll solve this case as well, consider it done.”

Bihari gives sweets to dihati who is confused. Bihari says “Tuntun ji is very smart’he got nirmal’s suspension order cancelled.” Dihati says “then what’s there to be happy about?” Bihari says “now watch how that darkie’s life will be ruined…tuntun ji will support me. Take a seat and I’ll tell you everything.”

Krishna is studying the file just when nirmal knocks on the door and comes in. The peon tells Krishna that bade babu is here to see her. Krishna says “Jija ji, I am busy with office’s work right now. Why don’t you go home and I’ll see you in the evening.” Nirmal says “I am here to see you regarding professional work.” Krishna is confused, Nirmal gives her a letter and she is shocked. “I have been transferred to your office.” Bade babu enters, “Sign it for me so I can join you from tomorrow.” Bade babu looks at nirmal and then at Krishna and says “amazing ma’am, yesterday you were giving me lectures and made me feel guilty, we both were at fault and got suspended but I see that family is more important than principles. You got him back by recommending him…just yesterday you were talking a lot in front of the media…call them now and tell them how biased you are.” Nirmal says “why are you blaming her? I am transferred here on tuntun’s request…Krishna ji is never biased. She’s strict towards her work, so don’t blame her. She is not involved.” Krishna is confused, nirmal smirks. Bade babu leaves in anger, Krishna is in thoughts.

TTs residence, Ganga and tuntun are in the living room. Ganga asks tuntun the reason for his happiness. Tuntun says “when one gets happiness then they should enjoy it to its max…I am too a human.” Krishna comes back home, tuntun sees her. Krishna walks over to them and says “babu ji I needed to speak to you alone about something.” Tuntun says ‘what’s the reason?” Krishna says “It’s better we talk alone about what I want to talk.” Ganga says “there are only family people here, then why hide things from the family? Say whatever you want.” Tuntun says “yes go ahead.” Krishna says “babu ji, nirmal ji is my jija ji and manisha is my sister. Jija ji was wrong and therefore it was my duty to suspend him. Babu ji you helped jija ji and took him to the DC and today he has been transferred to my office. Babu ji you could’ve told me before doing such thing. Due to such thing I might end up in a problem and people will stop having faith in me.” Pinto comes and says “babu ji, what was the need to do that? Why did you take krishna’s jija ji to the DC? In such hard situation Krishna took that decision, what was the need to interfere in krishna’s personal matter? This is connected to Krishna then why didn’t you talk to her?” Tuntun says “amazing, do I have to ask permission from your wife to help a needy?” pinto says “babu ji, you are trying to change the situation here…” Ganga says “Enough pinto singh! It’s not even an important issue and you come to question your father? You argue with the same father whom you couldn’t even raise your head in front of. You haven’t been married for even 24 days and you forgot the people whom you had relation with for the past 24 years.” (arre wah, we finally know pinto ji’s age) “Looks like you’ve forgotten about it…you didn’t even hear what your wife has to say and you came to accuse your father. Didn’t I tell you Krishna to not to bring your professional life at home. You may be a B.D.O but don’t forget you are a D-I-L of this house and if needed you will choose your family before your career!” Krishna looks on at ganga, tuntun enjoys the moment. Krishna sees that Manisha and Nirmal are here. They greet Tuntun, Krishna puts a smile on her face and greets them. Manisha says “chacha ji, thank you for what you did for him.” Tuntun says “amazing, what are you saying? I did what I thought I should do. Give me a hug.’ Nirmal hugs Tuntun. Manisha says “we came to sweeten everyone’s mouth.” Nirmal feeds sweets to all, Krishna is not happy about this but she puts the a fake smile on her face. Ganga refuses to eat the sweets because he doesn’t like it much. Tuntun says “vidya babu was my employee but I never considered him as one and took him like family and when I heard about manisha’s incident then I couldn’t help myself but to help and the thing Is that I think from the heart and I get emotional because I can’t see my loved ones in pain.” Nirmal says “chacha ji thank you for standing by us and considering us as your own otherwise there are some people who abandon you despite of being your own. ” Pinto and Krishna both get the hint, Pinto is about say something but Krishna holds his hand. Nirmal says “I’ll take your leave now.” Nirmal and Manisha leave. Tuntun asks Sargam to make another tea for him. Ganga walks over to Krishna and says “did you see? Just handling the office isn’t your duty, you have some responsibilities towards your family as well.” (I agree with that.) “Learn your duties and responsibilities first!” Krishna leaves without saying anything, pinto looks on at ganga.

Krishna goes to her room as she’s thinking about what just happened downstairs, pinto is standing behind her and sees Krishna upset. Pinto is finding words to say, he puts his hand on Krishna’s shoulder. Krishna turns to look at him, both share a staring session, Krishna finally breaks down and hugs him. Pinto too is upset seeing Krishna shatter like this. Krishna says “am I doing anything wrong? How am I at fault in this?” Pinto says “I know you aren’t at fault, you are right. You did the right thing…and such things shouldn’t matter. The thing that should matter to you is what you think about yourself. And right now you shouldn’t lose your self-confidence.” Krishna hugs pinto again and cries on his shoulder. (cute scene…! a must watch…=D)
