Adaalat 17th June 2012 Written Update

Dave discovers the dead body of a lady Deepali tied with ribbon in a frozen state.
KD furiously enters the lockup and asks Nikhil about Deepali. Nikhil replies that she’s his fan from Delhi. They had an affair till one month. KD updates him about her murder. Nikhil says that he was in lockup so how could he kill her. KD utters that she got murdered on 19th and he wasn’t in the lockup on that day. He questions about his relationships as those ladies were being killed. Nikhil names another fan of him, Lavanya Mehra with whom he had an affair but now they are just friends. KD asks her address.

Dave and Varun discover Lavnaya’s dead body inside a water tank on the building she lived in. He informs KD about his doubt that came true. Varun tells Dave that this murder is inspired from Nikhil’s novel, “Andha pyar” in which the lead hero Karan Khosla kills a lady like this. Dave claims Nikhil is the one who’s doing this.

Court begins and Jaisawal names the three ladies killed through the methods mentioned in Nikhil’s novels. Nikhil is being accused by him and he defends himself plus clarifies he didn’t kill anyone. He was in contact with Rajini till now but not with Lavanya and Deepali. He says sorry to his wife. Jaisawal doesn’t pay attention and asks whether he’s a human being or animal.

KD raises his point and claims these three murders are done by a mentally disordered person, a fan of Nikhil. He converses about a case of the year 1996 where a man Gujjar Singh killed five corrupt people in a night, being inspired from the movie “Shenshah”. So someone is killing being inspired from Nikhil’s novels.

Jaisawal praises him and touches his feet as according to him, KD moved the point of doubt from Nikhil. He then tends to prove Nikhil guilty and shows a pen found near the fridge inside which Deepali’s body was found. Nikhil recognizes that the pen is his and speaks Jaisawal shouts and shows a watch found inside the water tank inside which Lavanya’s body was discovered. Nikhil wonders how those things reached there. He utters Tilotma’s name and suddenly becomes silent thinking something. KD asks him what he wanted to say and Nikhil reveals that his wife Tilotma had gifted him those things. They stopped working and so she took them for revamping.

KD invites her in the witness box. He asks how those things reached the crime site. She responds she doesn’t know. KD questions next, were those things with her to which she agrees and the next moment she utters that someone stole them from her bag. KD asks didn’t she tell Nikhil or report the matter to police. Tilotma then changes her previous reply and tells him she had thrown them away. KD asks the reason behind this action of her to which she responds she did this in anger. KD then questions what did Nikhil do that she became fuming? She doesn’t reply and KD claims that she had come to know about Nikhil’s affairs.

Tilotma denies she knew anything and KD exposes that she had filed a of divorce application in “Devendra Solanki associates”. She admits she knew about Nikhil’s affairs and had filed an application. KD claims she killed the three ladies. She denies and suddenly speaks that she saw Nikhil’s incomplete book in Rajini’s house. KD gets hold of her last statement and asks whether she went there to kill her! Tilotma tries to defend herself but KD doesn’t wait and rests. She’s arrested and Nikhil is proved innocent. KD feels sorry for Nikhil. Gulshan gets hyper and shouts at Nikhil as he cheated Tilotma. Policemen take him outside.

In office, KD is concerned about the case. Varun comes and informs KD that he had gone to drop Shefali’s mother to hospital. KD is irritated and doesn’t pay attention to his talks. He wonders whether truth succeeded in this case. He converses that if Nikhil would have been proved guilty, his relation with his wife would have ended and she would have got the property even. Then why did she made this plan and killed those ladies. Nikhil enters and requests KD to fight Tilotma’s case as he’s sure she’s innocent. KD agrees.

Nikhil is in Shirish Dhawan’s office. He tells him to forget his wife and concentrate on his novel. Nikhil admits he can’t move forward till the moment his wife comes back. Shirish gets hyper and claims that he has made him. Nikhil offers him to take the advance back but Shirish doesn’t accept that. Nikhil says sorry and leaves. Shirish calls Salman, another writer of his publication who used to be with Gulshan.

KD meets Tilotma in the lockup. She’s sad and Nikhil enters at the moment. He tells her that even now he loves her the most. She tells him to leave but Nikhil requests her to answer KD’s questions and he’ll do whatever she does, after she gets out. KD too requests her to bear with them being calm. He asks how she got to know about Nikhil’s affairs. Tilotma replies that Salman told her. She didn’t believe him and so he showed her some photographs. Seeing them, she dropped the watch and pen there.

In the office, Varun reports KD about Avinash being the new owner of his dad’s property after his sister Rajini’s death. He was out of the property previously. KD asks him to find out about Avinash.
Varun meets Avinash in his office and he doesn’t answer his questions properly. Instead, he asks him to get lost.

Court session begins and Avinash is in the witness box. He reveals that he was in Hong Kong and not in India when the three ladies were killed. He shows his passport and proves his point. Jaisawal starts speaking some nonsense and KD gets irritated.

He calls Salman in the witness box. KD asks how he got to know about Nikhil’a affairs. Salman denies he knew anything. KD turns towards Tilotma who’s stunned; he signals her to keep quiet and takes out his mobile phone. He then says that Tilotma had recorded her and Salman’s conversation in her phone. Listening so, Salman accepts he had informed Tilotma about Nikhil’s affairs. KD smiles and reveals the phone is his and not Timotma’s, how could their conversation be recorded in his phone then. Salman reveals he exposed Nikhil’s affairs to his wife just to put a pressure on his writing. KD doubts he killed those ladies but Salman denies and says he was in Lucknow. Jaisawal shows his photos in a function he attended there. KD rises his previous question that how he got to know about Nikhil’a affairs. Salman reveals that Shirish had told him.

Shirish comes in the witness box and addresses Salman as a thief. After KD asks, he reveals that he knew those girls who had an affair with Nikhil. He hired a detective who got their photos. He kept them with him to control Nikhil in situations when he would decide to leave or ask him to increase his money. Nikhil stands up and expresses his annoyance in what Shirish did. KD asks Shirish where was he on 19th and 20th? Shirish tells him he was admitted in city hospital deluxe ward no. 247 for kidney stone operation. Jaisawal shows the hospital records. The clock strikes 5.

In office, Varun claims that Gulshan is the culprit and doubts he must be having an affair with Tilotma. KD tells him he still doubts anyone among Avinash, Shirish and Salman have done this. There’s something behind the pictures. Varun fails to comprehend anything.

Court session begins and Avinash is in the witness box. He frustrated on being called again. KD shows a newspaper article to him that exposed the tension between him and his sister. Avinash rejects those articles. KD claims that he wouldn’t have been the owner of the property without his sister’s death. He claims that Avinash has committed the three murders.

KD begins his explanation and reveals that he went to Hong Kong using his real passport. Then he returned to India on 18th using a fake one, killed the three ladies and went to Hong Kong using the fake one. At last, he returned to India with his real passport. So according to his real passport, he was in Hong Kong and couldn’t kill those ladies. Avinash denies KD’s points and KD asks will he accept his crime if he shows the fake passport. The court gets adjourned for lunch. Avinash quickly calls someone and KD notices him.

Varun goes behind Avinash. A man enters Avinash’s cabin, gets the fake passport behind a portrait and tries to destroy that using fire. Varun enters and manages to get the passport.

In the court, KD shows the passport and proves Avinash guilty. Avinash confesses he had taken debt from underworld and so had to kill his sister for property. He spotted Nikhil’s book and killed her in the same style. He killed Deepali and Lavanya too. About the pen and watch, he had seen his wife Tilotma dropping them in anger.

He’s arrested and Tilotma is proved innocent.
